One day after one very strange case Juliet found herself with Shawn. They both were feeling upset and lonely so they went out for a couple of drinks found their way back to his place where in there drunken state they had sex. Then when they woke up the next morning with a huge hang-over they started talking they eventually said that it meant nothing they were just drunk and Shawn was still with Abigail. So they both agreed to pretend that nothing ever happened.
When Juliet got to work after talking to Shawn. She had always known that her partner had a crush on her, so after what happened with Shawn she decided to take a chance and go out with Lassiter what could it hurt. So she went over and asked him out, he was shocked the woman he had been in love with for the last three years was asking him out he just could not believe it. He of coarse said yes. He wanted everything to go perfect so they took things slow.
Than about a month after that drunken night she was afraid that she might be pregnant she knew it couldn't be Carlton's because they haven't had sex yet. So she went to the doctor's office to see if she was pregnant. Then when the doctor told her she was pregnant she started to cry. Then on her way to the station she started thinking what she was going to do than she decided to have sex with him than say that it was his a month later. She knew Shawn wouldn't be there so it was her only choice because she was not going to be a single mom.
That night she had sex with Carlton, she was not proud of herself but what other choice did she have. So about a month later she told Carlton that she was pregnant he was thrilled with the idea of a baby. I made the right choice; he was going to make a great dad. He wanted to tell everyone that moment he was telling everybody that they had a huge announcement to make, than when everyone was there he told them all that they were going to have a baby every started to clap. Boy this was not what she thought would happen, but it made her feel like she was going to have a family not just a baby.
