A little girl sat alone
On a front porch swing
She sat brushing her doll's hair
Dreaming every little girl dream
She wanted to be a mother
To promise her children that she would stay
That she would never leave them
1 Like her mother had that fateful day
Slowly the tears began to fall
Over the loss of her mother
Whom she never got to know
As the girl looked down at the doll
A ghostly figure formed behind her
With a sudden realization the girl knew that her mother would always be there
