A Lone Tear rolled down her cheek and crashed to the ground. It had been a year from that day she would never forget. A year since the day on P3X-666 where fate had taken her colleague and friend. She stood before the grave of the doctor that had lost millions of miles from home. Another tear fell to the ground as she knelt down in front of the head stone. Laying the beautifully colored flowers upon the grave, she reached out and laid a hand upon the lovingly engraved stone. "It should have been me that died that day, not you," She whispered barely holding her emotions in check. "I should have been the one to take the blast not you." Taking a deep breath to steady herself she continued, "You were one of the best doctors I have ever known. A wonderful colleague and friend. I always knew I could count on you when I needed help. The SGC truly misses you, and so do I." She wiped another stray tear from her face and took a deep breath.

As she knelt before the head stone in front of her, Doctor Janet Fraiser read it to herself as she had done so many times before. "Here lies 'Doctor Eric Warner', Devoted Husband, Father, Friend and Doctor. He who gave his life for his country. We will not forget." Wiping another tear from her face she said to him, "And its true Eric, I'll never forget you...We'll never forget you." She would never stop feeling guilty either. He took her shift for her so she could go to Cassie's Graduation which had been postponed due to rain. She would never forget the sacrifice that was made that day. The sacrifice that should have been hers. With one last look at the head stone, Janet stood up and went over to the car where her friends, who as close as family were waiting. Knowing how hard this day was for her, SG-1 and Cassie had come along to lend support. Making it to the car Sam wrapped her best friend up in a hug. "It's ganna be ok Janet, everything's going to be ok".
