Meh, I was bored.
I own nothing, not even the song this was inspired on or the game/characters.
One shot, kinda fluffy, no pairings.

It had been a long, hard school day and Sora and Namine were walking home from school together, as usual. Kairi had decided to head home with Selphie and Riku had to stay after for Math, or something. Sora chattered on about his day while Nami contently listed, nodding in a sweet way.
"And I'm telling you: I'm about to fail geography. I mean, all they teach us is about our world, what about the other worlds out there? I heard rumors and read about a place online called Hollow Bastion. It could be real, Nami! I swear! The way they described it and the survivors that crashed here, claiming they need to get back! I wanna go. I want to be out there Nami! I can't be stuck here al my life, can I?" Sora had walked a few feet ahead of her and turned around, arms spread like he was going to take off and fly away.
Namine giggled her normal, high-pitched giggle. "Sora, you don't even know if the other worlds exist. The survivors could be lying you know, attention grabbers." Sora expression melted into a frown. He put his arms down.
"Don't believe me? Come one." He grabbed her arm and began to pull her along like she was a rag doll.
"Sora! Sora, where are you taking me? Sora!" She yelled as he dragged her though the forest and into a wide, open field. He continued to force her along until they were in the middle of the field and he lay down on his back and had his face to the sky.
"Lay down." He commanded. She slowly slid beside him in the tall grass. The sky was clear, except for the few clouds that dotted this sky. After a few moments, Namine sighed.
"Okay, what am I looking at?" She said. He pointed, and in the far off sky, waaaay out there, was a twinkle. A small, itty-bitty twinkle. She didn't say anything.
"How can there be a star in the middle of the day with the sun shining brightly in the sky? Nami, it's another world. They exist! School's brainwashing us to think we have to stay here on Destiny Islands for the rest of our lives! I'm going to build a ship that can take us away and we can be free." Sora said with a smile.
He was always a dreamer, and Namine was supportive of that.
"Alright Sora, you believe what you want to." Namine said. They both laid in the grass for a moment until Namine sat up.
"Hey Sora?" She asked.
"Yeah?"
"How did you find this field?"
"Well, Riku and I wanted to cut school one day and as we ran away from school, we thought we were going to be caught. So we ran into the forest and eventually we found this place. We were dazzled by it. So, we deemed that if we ever wanted to run away or get away from everything and dream, this would be our spot to."
Nami nodded and stood. "I wish I had brought my sketchbook. I think this would make a great scene to sketch: The trees, the grass, the perfect sky, everything." She spun around, making her blond hair swirl around her.
Sora smiled and sat up. "Well you can come here any time you want Nami. Our field is your field!"
And Namine smiled.
