I woke up again that night, screaming. But when someone shook me awake, I was surprised to see it wasn't Charlie. It was him. After what happened in Italy, I was still getting over the shock of him being by my side again.

"You've been through a lot today. You need sleep." He gently lowered me back into bed but I held onto him." I felt my heart skip a beat and my eyes fill with worry.
"No… I can't…" I stuttered. I was convinced that if I closed my eyes for even a second, I would open them and he would be gone. Again. I didn't think my heart could take that again.
He shook his head and looked into my eyes. "I'll be here. I'll always be here."

His body was cold and made me shiver a little. But I didn't care; He was there, really there, not just my imagination running away with me. He felt me shiver and wrapped me in a blanket.
I looked up at him and breathed "I love you." He smiled and kissed my forehead.
