AFTER ALL THAT TROUBLE
Temari & Shikamaru love story
Dear Readers,
Sorry I haven't been writing any fan fictions lately. My computer is so screwed up. Well, anyways, after The Naruto Couple Awards, I've decided to write a Temari+Shikamaru fan fiction and Sasuke+Sakura (I haven't got an idea for Sasu+Saku), I'm available for requested plots and such. Please review me. I want to know if you like the story so far… 3 Komara
Shikamaru sat alone on a rooftop gazing at the night sky above him. There were no clouds out tonight, thought the thousand speckles of light scattered throughout the prodigious blackness were enough to divert him. Ever since the mission to find and bring back Sasuke failed, the whole village had dramatically changed. Either that or Shikamaru was mental in his own 180 I.Q means. He let out a long sigh that probably was the longest yet.
'What a drag…after Sasuke left and the new of his departure finally sank in the Village, everybody has turned all serious, grown-up, and out right depressed. Even the flower shop is depressing! It's so troublesome…'
After that failed assignment, Shikamaru had been in an elongated digression, even poorer than staring at fluffy clouds and dozing off during class, and every new task sent to him failed miserably since.
'I shouldn't have been chosen to be a tedious Chunnin. I mean, I'm too lazy to do anything! During that mission, Naruto and them beat those Sound guys in a head-on combat. Me on the other hand, I had help from a girl…to defeat a girl!'
"Heh… What a rude think to say in the presence of a girl. Didn't you mother ever teach you manners?" The voice was obviously a girl's or else it was one of Naruto's spurious girl pranks again. Shikamaru could tell that the person was smirking.
Shikamaru turned around, surprised, to see who could have possibly snuck behind him without him knowing. All he could see was a silhouette or an average height girl, skinny with strong curve structures and four spiky pigtails protruding in different directions from her head (obviously you know who this is, so I won't describe the silhouette any further).
'Oops. Did I say that out loud? Ugh. Now I'm even saying my thoughts out loud...' Shikamaru thought.
"Still hear you," Temari said "You should really learn to keep in your thoughts."
'Damn.'
"Thought you were a guy for a moment…" Shikamaru mumbled and grimaced.
"What did you--" Temari hissed as her eyes narrowed and mouth slanted downwards, which slightly marred her face.
"Nothingg." Shikamaru quickly replied with a look of false innocence which suddenly turned into a rage of coughing, gagging fits. He had learned that technique from Choji when he offended Ino's appearance and the Twix commercial. Thought instead of coughing, Choji shoved handfuls of BBQ chips in his mouth and the corporate worker shoved Twix down his throat.
"Anyways, since you've become a Chunnin and all, Lady Tsunade wishes for you to take part in the out coming Exams as an examiner. Am I correct? She told me you would meet up with me here since I'm representing the Sand for the council." Temari explained in a sagely tone.
"This is so troublesome…yeah. I have to give you a tour around the Exam courses?" Shikamaru let out a yawn.
Temari didn't reply. Instead, she moved from behind him and sat next to Shikamaru with her arm wrapped tightly around her legs. She stared up at the starry sky.
"It's so beautiful." Temari said in awe. Shikamaru glanced at Temari's pale and serene face and suddenly felt an uncanny, yet warm sensation spread throughout his body. Temari glanced back at Shikamaru to see him looking right at her face. His eyes were black and mysterious, yet comforting. She turned away to hide her face. She was blushing.
