"Soniiiiic!!" Amy Rose squeals as Metal Sonic grabs her around the waist and zooms off.
"Not again…" sighs Sonic the Hedgehog, true blue hero of Mobius, as he starts his pursuit of the hedgehog who has adored him for eight years; since the day they met, the first day she was hog-napped by Sonic's heartless robotic counterpart.
Recently, Metal has been more or less taking her every month for half a year now. Why is completely unknown. He works for himself alone; repeats his same plans, runs his same tracks…and, in the same sense, is caught by Sonic each and every time.
With some quick-footed maneuvering, Sonic is at Metal's side. Before he knew it, however, the steel blades Metal uses as a hand cut into Sonic's arm and chest. Enraged by the pain, he gives Metal a speedy spin kick, sending Amy flying as the mechanical creature tastes the earth. Our favorite blue friend makes an extraordinary dive, catching his most loyal fan unharmed. Metal arose from the dirt, his crimson eyes gleaming with vengeance and nearly laughing with malice. He merely turned and disappeared into an all-consuming darkness, leaving Sonic and Amy alone in the dust.
