WOW! Two ficcies in a row! This one's a little Halloween present for 39medalla, because they are AWESOME! BTW, this is a response poem to their poem SENTIMIENTOS DE CARBON, only this time it's Alice talking about our dear mangy cat ^^. Feel free to check out her poem and my translation now!

HE WALKS IN EMBER
In a flash of gold
That lights this darkened world
His soothing smile will fade away;
The smooth timbre of his voice
Warm and soft to my cold mind
Feels like an unseen caress,
Comforting as the heat of the hearth
As I sit by the fireplace, waiting out the storm.
His eyes like amber suns
Shining through the darkness,
Forbidden fire that burns when I get too close,
Even now I peer inside his warmth, a stranger soaking outside.
I'll meet you in our shared Paradise;
Pass Horror and Anguish,
These heartfelt words you'll hear,
And in your heart I'll stay.
Through pain and terror I survived,
Though wounded, for your sake.
My feelings for you I will guard for life;
You gaze at me with blazing flames,
Do you still remember me?
I can no longer control
This torrent of emotions.
Those three simple words are torture to convey,
The three that so many have used before,
Raze my heart in an inferno of gold.
This poem I am reciting,
As I believe in him with all my heart,
Brings me but pain and sorrow.
The searing blaze consumes my soul-
Please, save me, my dear.
There are feelings that are best locked away,
From the flames that wish them harm;
There are parts of our hearts to be left untouched,
Because although some words cannot be spoken,
Even after ember and ash,
My emotions for you will stay.
