Rush week was pointless. Honestly, was there really appoint to see all seventeen fraternities? He was a legacy, guaranteed a spot in his father's a fraternity, the very same one his older brother was president of. His twin brother Sora, of course, was chatting up a storm with anyone and everyone that was unfortunate to walk by. Roxas however sat on the black leather couch with his lukewarm beer in the 'classic' red solo cup, he took little sips of the vile tasting liquid while watching everyone else kissing ass trying to get remembered for the upcoming bid distribution.
The couch dipped down on his left and Roxas' cerulean eyes met the hazel eyes of his best friend Hayner.
"Not enjoying yourself Roxas?"
"I just find it pointless , considering there is no way Sora or I will be able to pledge any of these…Dad would kill us." he glared. Hayner looked disappointed at his friends words.
"Doesn't mean you still can't have fun" he huffed. Roxas immediately felt bad, he always seemed to be the one to bring down Hayner's moods, he smirked and nudged Hayner in the ribs.
"Stop!" Hayner giggled.
"Ok! Ok! I'll be honest with you Hayner, the real reason I'm not having fun is because I'm surrounded by all these disgusting werewolves, just like you." He teased his friend. Roxas tensed up when he heard a voice in his ear.
"And what is so bad about being a warewolf…Blondie?" Hayner giggled and Roxas gave a sigh of relief at the mention of his old nickname from the one and only Seifer. "But seriously Roxas, be careful what you say in here, if anyone else but me would have heard you say that you would be outside in that nasty green pool." Seifer chuckled.
Roxas gave his friend's boyfriend a grateful smile, "Ok, Sorry Seifer. I'll be more careful, I promise!"
They continued to talk for a few more minutes when the rush chair gathered up everybody to move on to the next house. Roxas was getting excited. The next house was his house, hopefully, Tau Delta Kappa.
"Great time to mingle with fucked up blood suckers." Hayner playfully groaned.
"Shut Up! You're just jealous that we Vampires are just blessed with stunning good looks" He laughed.
As soon as they reached the house he saw Leon outside waiting for the new rushees . He made eye contact with him and received a small smile from Leon, before his face went back to his stoic stoney look before he growled out, "Welcome to Tau Delta Kappa, the best of the best. Do you think you have what it takes to be a Kapp? Come in and prove it."
The double doors behind him opened and the brothers were all there in their suits with big fake smiles on their face.
Hayner nudged him, "Time to make your magic happen Rox. Lets go get 'em!"
Roxas smiled at his friend and walked inside the biggest fraternity house on the Radiant Garden University campus.
