Matthias sat on Berwald's bed, laughing like a hyena as Berwald came in, horror written all over his face. Matthias had just finished reading Berwald's journal… the entry where he revealed his feelings for Tino.

"Dude, there'll be snowflakes in July before that happens!" He sneered as if this were funny.

Berwald's face hardened at Denmark's unkind words, before making a comment of his own. "S'me w'th y'u and N'rw'y, assh'le." He growled, snatching his journal from Matthias's hands all the while suppressing his overwhelming urge to declare war upon him. "As if it c'uld ev'r h'ppen w'th y'u two." There was a legitimate reason why nobody could take being around Matthias for long, and that was it. He was nosy, and laughed at any problems you might have rather than help you.

Matthias frowned. "Hey, dude, not fair. At least I talk to Norge. Really, didn't they make you take speech classes in school?"

"G't out, D'nm'rk." Berwald scowled, pointing to the door and thinking homicidal thoughts as he watched Matthias's retreating figure.

On his way to work, Berwald's mind was haunted by Matthias's words… "Dude, there'll be snowflakes in July before that happens!". Berwald tried repeated the sentence to himself, failing miserably at the vowels within the words.

Arriving at the computer tech place, he tried filling his mind with fixing computers instead of cute Finnish men.

He decided he wanted to see him. Berwald whipped out his cellphone and called Tino. Berwald was happy enough to almost smile when he heard the sweet voice on the other end of the phone.

"Moi moi! Tino speaking~!" Berwald, though Tino wasn't in his sight, could hear the smile in his voice and see the sunshine around his face.

"T'no, c'n I c'me ov'r l't'r?" He asked, sounding a bit bashful. Matthias would make fun of him if he had seen.

"Oh~! Berwald, I was about to call you! Of course you can come over. Hanatamago misses you! Haha~"

Berwald released a sigh of relief. "Ok'y, see you l't'r th'n."

"Bye, Su-san!" Tino hung up first, leaving Berwald to get into his car and drive up to where Tino lived. Timidly, Berwald knocked on the door, quickly greeted by a tiny white dog jumping on his heels joyfully.

The door was soon answered by Tino. And when he opened the door, Berwald saw it. He saw hope, beauty, and the promise of his feelings becoming more than a dream.

He saw the paper snowflakes Tino had made for Christmas in July.

Matthias = Denmark, for those who dunno.

Happy Birthday Emma! When you said SuFin was your favorite, I wanted to do something. (Really, I have no practice whatsoever with this couple, but I hope I kept everyone in character here!)
