Night Sky
Water flowed down her body. The hot air condensed on the mirror and became milky. Around her there didn't exist time anymore. That was what it felt like. She wanted to stay here forever. She didn't know how long she stood there already. Seconds, minutes or hours. The last days were interesting. And definitely surprising. Something, she had never expected.
The light of the TV flickered in the dark room. He lay on his couch, but he didn't even know the name of the movie he was watching. In his mind he was still with her. In his thoughts he was still in Paris. They were still in Paris. He asked himself if this all was just the beginning or the end.
She got out of the shower and took a big, soft, yellow towel and wrapped it around her body. She left her small bathroom and entered the living room. It was tidy and cleaned. She opened a window to get some fresh air inside. She starred at the black night sky and the little, white stars. She had done the same in Paris. And meanwhile Tony had starred at her.
He stood up and switched out the TV. Outside millions of little, white stars shone on the dark, black night sky. He had seen Ziva when she had starred at them in their hotel room in Paris. He stretched himself and went to bed room. He took place next to his cell phone and asked himself if he should call her.
She sat next to her cell phone. Would he call? Should she phone him? It was just an idea. She didn't know if anything changed. They were still the same persons. Even after Paris.
"Who gets the couch?" Tony asked and threw is bag on the floor. Ziva picked it up and handed it to him.
"You. And I don't want your things on the floor. I like it clean." she said.
"I don't sleep on the couch. Let's flip a coin." he suggested and threw the bag on the bed.
"I don't flip coins, Tony." Ziva answered and sat on the couch.
"We shared a bed when we were undercover. That was for work. Now we are working again… Why don't share a bed?" he asked, after minutes of silent. Ziva looked into his eyes. He really thought about that.
"If you want. I'm taking a shower" she answered.
When she came out of the shower again Tony lay in the bed and slept, like a little boy. Ziva put on some pajamas and went to bed, next to him. She switched out the lights and looked out of the window. The dark black night sky was fascinating. Behind her she could hear Tony's snore. Ziva starred out of the window for minutes.
"What is so fascinating?" Tony suddenly asked. Ziva turned around and looked at him. He took his hand and wiped her hair strands out of her face. Then he kissed her. Ziva didn't push him away. She closed her eyes and enjoyed this feeling. This was the last thing they did. Ziva turned around and lay down on the soft pillow.
"Let's sleep." she said. Tony smiled. It was just a kiss, but it was the best kiss in his whole life. He wrapped his arms around her and they slept next to each other.
Tony took the phone and dialed her number. He waited till somebody would answer it.
"Yes, David?" Ziva's voice said.
"It's me, Tony…" he said.
Hope you like it. Please review. I know everything is doing this "Jet Lag"-thing right now, but I wanted to write what happened afterwards and their feelings after Paris.
