Author's Note:

Hello, my peoples!~ This a short and innocent shipping with Jerlita. I tried my best to make it as fluffy as possible. Enjoy it, if you will.

On with the story!

"For the middle of November, it's a little too hot, don't you think?" Jeremie thought out loud, causing a giggle from Aelita.

"That's very true." She giggled a little harder, as they kept walking back to class from lunch. Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi went to go get a drink from the vending machine, (Which never worked) but they have another two minutes to get to class before Jim rants about being late.

"I hope that XANA won't attack for a bit, it's been cutting off time from school, and from actual activities." Jeremie said, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"I like It when XANA attacks, especially when that clone started to kiss people." She replied. "I got to see how you would...you would.." Aelita stopped, trying not to turn shades of pink and red. "How you would react when you're mad at me." She already knew that Jeremie would've figured out the actual sentence, but for whatever reason, it looked as if he didn't.

"One of the most stupid ideas that virus has come up with." He shook his head, looking at Aelita. "It was a.. weird day." Jeremie offered her his hand. "But why did you kiss me..?"

"Well.." Aelita was practically screaming in her head for the rest of the group to come back so that she won't have to answer.

"Well...what?" He smiled, stopping their route from gym class. "It's kind of the same questions as, 'why did I come to Lyoko that day when we were fighting about the materialization program?' " It was now Jeremie's turn to stammer.

"Why did you come to Lyoko?" She mocked, smirking. "It couldn't have been to say hi. I know you don't like to step in the scanner room. Aeltia squeezed his hand, as they kept walking down the pathway to the gym doors.

"Well, I wanted to say sorry in person, I felt so bad that I put all of my rage towards you." Jeremie smiled wider. "When I saw you running to the towers to save me, I knew how I felt a-about you.."

Aelita almost melted.

"I-I just.."

"Just what?"

"Well the reason I kissed you that day was because the clone Jeremie kissed me..." She tried her best not to stammer. "And I felt cheated out of my first kiss and..."

"R-really?" Aelita shyly looked at her shoes, nodding.

"Yeah and-"

"Well, that's kind of the reason I went to Lyoko that day. Let's just say that the whole group knows that I have a...uh.."

"A what?" She was praying that Jeremie would say it.

'Say it... say it...'

"A...friendship?" He looked away, blushing slightly as they kept walking to class.

"Are you sure?" Aelita was going a little too far to get the answer out of him. "Is that the real reason?"

"Well-" He was cut off by shouting.

"We're here! Did you miss us?!" Odd shouted, carrying bottles of water and sodas.

'Thank the unknown God...' Jeremie thought, sighing a relief as the gang all shared a few laughs and opening the doors to class.

All Aelita could do was to blush whenever they talked about what she and Jeremie did while they were gone.
