Preface(Katsumi POV)
"Katsumi-chan!" a voice shouted from behind me. I nearly jumped a foot in the air.
"Tenten don't do that" I shouted whipping around.
"gomen, gomen Katsumi-chan but its so easy to scare you" she said while giggling. I scowled. I hate my friends.
"I hate you" I said voicing my thoughts aloud.
"I love you too" she said.
"H-hey Katsumi hi Tenten" said Hinata walking over to us as we watched some of the boys return from training. "Hey Hinata" we said in unison.
"W-what are you two doing" she asked as soon as she joined us on the bench near the park.
"well Tenten was busy scaring the crap out of me" "Katsumi was reminding me how much she loves me so" Tenten added with a smile.
"U-um Katsumi-chan I herd the news congratulation" Hinata murmured.
"Ugh Hinata don't congratulate me" I moaned.
"Congrats for what" Tenten asked confused. "I'm getting engaged" I said with a defeated sigh. "Really!?!"
"Sadly yes" I said hanging my head. "To Who?" asked Tenten while Hinata nodded, letting me know that she wanted to know also. I mumbled. "There's no one named Saucy Uchinhaha" Tenten said. "Now who is it" she asked, grabbing hold of me and shaking me vigorously. "Let me go and I'll tell" I said. She stopped shaking me and let go.
"Its……Sasuke Uchiha" I said wanting to crawl in a hole and die. "B-but you hate him" Hinata said. "It don't matter, my parents said for the honor of the clan I shall marry him" I hissed. There was a long silence.
"There is a way out of that" Tenten said suddenly. "You don't mean" Hinata gasped putting a hand over her mouth. "Yes, Katsumi you can go to war so that way you don't have to marry him, at least for a while" Tenten said. "And if I die I won't have to marry him" I said, my mood lifting. "That's not what I meant" Tenten said sweat dropping.
"She means if you help win this war your family will have honor and you won't have to marry Sasuke" Hinata said. I paused. "That could work too" I said.
