Peaceful Beach
Summary: A requested sequel to Two Opposites, One Heart. An oneshot of Alt. Booster and Alt. Mira on a beach on Alt. Bahambas 6 for their honeymoon; everything belongs to Disney.
In the Alternate Bahambas 6 of the Alternate Dimension, Mira (the alternate one) gazed out at the gorgeous view of the beach from the porch of the beach house that she and Booster (the alternate one) were staying in. It's the first day of their honeymoon, but she just couldn't believe that the two of them are finally married.
When Star Command learned of their engagement, the Space Rangers agreed to help with the wedding and hold it after fixing up the damage that Alt. Buzz caused the Alt. Galactic Alliance. Alt. XR was given the honor of giving the bride away since he's family to Mira and Booster, and the Alt. Commander preceded the ceremony. And the reception was out of this world. Really, they had the reception on Star Command instead of on a planet.
A pair of big strong arms wrapping themselves around her waist suddenly interrupted Mira's thoughts.
"Penny for your thoughts?" She smirked when she turned to her larger husband.
"Just thinking about how I ended up with a goofball like you," she answered. He only chuckled in reply before kissing her on the lips, and she only returned the kiss.
"You got lucky…"
"We got lucky," she corrected him before turning back to the view. "You know, their reaction turned out better than I thought."
"Whose?" asked her confused husband.
"The other Space Rangers," she answered matter-of-factly. "I thought they'd think it's crazy for us to get married because of our 'fighting twenty-four seven', but they seemed okay with it." Booster nodded in reply as he gazed out at the horizon as well.
"I know. It's like they knew all along. Uh, not that I told them about it or anything."
"I know you wouldn't," she assured him with a laugh. "You're too firm for that." A thought then came to her. "You know, when XR found out, I had a feeling he'd be shocked." Booster laughed in reply.
"Yeah, saying we're like those two from Moonlighting. He's got a point when you think about it." Mira only smiled with a giggle before another thought came to her.
"What do you think is gonna happen next now that we're finally married?" Booster turned to her with surprise at her question.
"Why do you ask that?"
"Just thinking, I guess," she answered with a shrug. "I mean, should we start thinking about starting a family even though we're Space Rangers? Will we be called to duty during our alone time?" Booster understood her concern before hugging her lovingly.
"I know how you feel," he stated, "but we'll get through whatever the future throws at us…together, I promise. And don't worry; the Commander said he'll have other Space Rangers cover for us so we can enjoy our honeymoon until we get back." Mira then looked up at him with a reassured smile.
"You always have that comforting effect on me," she replied, "and that's another reason why I'm glad I married you." With a chuckle, Booster took his new wife into his arms and kissed her in his embrace.
