I don't own DC much to my disappointment... The police peoples from my last story stole the paperwork for it... RAWR! Sigh... Anyway another (fluffy?) oneshot of ShinRan~! And other couples -winks-

Ran

She remembered the excitement in his voice whenever he spoke of Sherlock.

She remembered the thrill of solving a mystery with him back in Primary School.

She remembered the beating of his heart in her feverish state as he warned the man with silver hair.

She remembered the chill of the soda meeting her flesh when he tapped it on her cheek.

She remembered the warmth of his arms when he hugged her as the knight in the play at school.

She remembered the longing in her heart the first year he was away.

But most of all, she remembered that strange look on his face when she told him to choose a girl and stick with her…

Shinichi
Ringing deep within his heart and soul, were the 8 words that proved how much he meant to her.

"Why don't you deduce what's in my heart!"

Today

The Black Organization was abolished, with the help of the Shounen Tantei-dan, Professor Agasa, Hattori, the FBI and Vermouth; it was taken down, arrested and over. The organization kept Haibara's notes to reproduce the drug, but unable to decipher her symbols, their efforts were naught.

With a cure that proved to be permanent, Shinichi finally returned back to normal. Haibara remained as a child to relive the life she never had, and Ran, while feeling her heart was somewhat whole again, was shocked beyond words of the tale of Shinichi/Conan. Her fist had trembled furiously as she fought to keep from punishing Shinichi because of all she went through those years he was "gone" and those "secrets" that "Conan" "kept"… She wanted to kill him, cry, and laugh at the same time. Instead, when he had finished his tale, she flung herself into his arms, tears cascading down her cheeks, as she hugged him tightly.

He decided it was best to tell her he loved her. Thus the two realized the mutual love for each other and here we are today. Shinichi, Ran and their child; Conan; in a photo frame that stood out from the rest just by its content, was a simple generic-like family photo, mother and father smiling lovingly while one held the child who while smiling brightly struggling to explore outside of the parents.

(So my friend said it wouldn't make sense to add this part... but i liked it to much XP so here ya go)

In other frames there were photos of friends and parents. They were cheerful looking and bright, there was even a group photo. Hattori and Kazuha were fighting as usual. Kaito and Aoko trying to stop the couple from fighting, but ending with otherwise disastrous results. (Such as... them accidentally kissing? maybe? -hint?-) Of course all of their parents were trying hard not to burst out laughing, and finally Ran and Shinichi enjoying the normality of the event while the offspring of the new couples were smiling cheerfully.
