JUST KEEP BREATHING

A CTFxC Fanfiction

"Hi my name is Cade and I have exciting news to share with you. I am going to the We The Kings concert this Friday." That's how I started my video on the saddest and most exciting week of my life. "If you don't know me I am a fourteen year old and I make videos for the Internet, but back to the matter on hand. We The Kings is my latest obsession. I have been listening to their music for about three years now and I just can't seem to get them out of my head. Of course I know who Charles is and I have been a part of the CTFxC since day one. The band was gracious enough to come to my home town even though they are playing in one of the worst parts of town, but hey, that's just how they roll." I try to keep up with my YouTube channel and I know that I am basically talking to no one, but I still do it.

It is Friday night and we are in the line for the concert. My dad is with me and he is really all I have because my mom walked out on us when I was three taking my

sister with her. When we get inside I can feel in the air that this show is going to be one of the best by far. My dad isn't really into their music, but wouldn't let me go with my friends because the venue is on the bad side of town.

We hear the band's pre-show chant "Get that funk out of my face…" I'm getting excited " I see mother-fucking pride and I see mother-fucking power…" I can feel the energy in the crowd. "Let's get tropical!" and they run out on the stage. Travis, Hunter, Danny, Coley, and finally Charles.

During a break from the show I purchase a wristband that lets me stay after and have a hangout with the band.

After the show security clears everyone but the people who have the wristbands out including my dad who didn't purchase a wristband. I get to hang out with, to me, the greatest people on the planet. They are so nice and exactly like they are in the vlogs. I am listening to them answer a question when we hear gunshots.
