A/N: Time to let go of tension , folks. I'm sorry. Fighting family. This is set during Oncie's childhood. He is about...16 in here. Enjoy my venting. Warning: Sadness and Oncest. also, if you get offended by ANYTHING I say here, remember, Everyone has their own ideas. I actually live in the farmlands.
Be My Rock
Oncie ran into his room angrily, slamming the door and falling onto his bed. He laid there for a while before finally letting his built up frustration cause him to cry. The tears fell from his eyes like a leaky roof. He just laid there and sobbed into his Marshmallow sheets. His family was fighting again. And their blaming and yelling...again. The Once-ler was fed up with it. He didn't have a soul to go back and talk to.
His mother became distant with him when his father left, so he never had the 'motherly love' rumored in stories. His aunt and Uncle always teased him if he cried in front of them, saying 'you crybaby' and 'Do you need your baba?'. Brett and Chet? Well, they weren't the loving type either. They solved their emotions in violence and sports. It was the curse of living in a farm home. Not only that, but he didn't even have any friends. At his school, everyone made fun of him. calling him 'farmboy' and 'emo' even though he wasn't emo. They called him that because he wrote poetry and sung songs on his little black guitar. The sudden recollection shocked him.
He had no one. Not a soul, that actually loved him. Oncie sat up, hanging his feet off the bed.
Oncie grinded his teeth, "Damn it." He buried his head in his hands, putting his head in between his legs. He cried, sobbed, let his face wet with the tears of his sad reality. When the thought of suicide passed his mind, he felt strong green-gloved arms wrap around his body. Surprised, he twisted behind him. There, on his knees on the bed, was The Once-ler, but with green clothes on instead of grey.
"W-who...?"
"Shh.." The man stated calmly, putting his index finger on Oncie's lips, "I am you. I am here to help you with your pain."
At the sound of those reassuring words from the clone, he wrapped his arms around him. He then just cried, let the tears flow out and on the green silk. When he finished crying, the shoulder was drenched in tears. He looked at the, obviously, older man apologetically.
"I'm sorry."
He shook his head, "Don't be. It's why I'm here. I'm here to help you be happy. I am Greed-ler."
"S-so, you're my rock? You will keep me from snapping?" Oncie blushed as he said this. Greed nodded, smiling and kissing Oncie's cheek.
"Yes. I will never leave you. Because I am yours and you are mine."
Oncie once again hugged onto Greed-ler. He will be okay. He has his doppleganger with him now. The green-clad man hugged back. Greed told Oncie of his idea that he'd play guitar while Oncie sang so the energy would calm. The Once-ler beamed. His mood was increasing by the lyric. He was actually going to be okay.
