Okay guys I got this idea while doing some research on my health conditions since I've been really worried about them lately. I'll be fine. Okay this isn't about me. It's about this story. When Reiki is in coma Dan has thoughts about him. Enjoy!

(Dan's POV)

I sat on the chair next to my brother's hospital bed. Reiki was in a coma ever since he risked his life to save a girl from a horrible fire. He's been in a coma for 3 months and has shown not a single sign of waking up.

I'm worried about him. What if Reiki never wakes up? What if he dies? I can't loose him. He's my brother. He's the only person I have left in my family. Our parents were dead for 3 years. We were 12 back then and we had to learn to live without them by our side.

Tears rushed to my eyes as I clutched Reiki's hand in my own. The thought of losing my brother causes me to cry. I moved my left hand to stroke his dark orange locks of hair. I promise myself the day after our parents died that I would protect Reiki with my life. But now it seems that I had broken that promise.

I leaned over to plant a small kiss against his forehead. He didn't move at all. Gignka and his friends were staring at me with sympathetic looks. I didn't want their sympathy. I wanted my brother back to the way he was. I loved him. I wanted him to sing and dance and be happy again.

The door of Reiki's room opened and Reiki's group of friends came in. When they saw me they glared. I know the reason why they were angry at me. They thought it was my fault that Reiki was almost killed. However Montgomery and Shun went over to me and touched my shoulder telling me that they weren't as angry as the others. They knew the pain that I felt of losing someone except for the girls and Shun.

Montgomery lost his brother in a fire. Red Eye's mother died after giving birth to him. Finn lost his mother during an attack on their kingdom. I had sympathy for them. It was because of that fire that Montgomery was afraid of fire-type pokemon.

They were all kind hearted toward Reiki and helped him out all the time with schoolwork and other things that I didn't know about. Lila was at the other side of Reiki and was crying. A few days before the fire Reiki and Lila had become an official couple. They loved each other dearly.

All of us were silent while waiting for Reiki to awaken out of his coma.
