Pain is worth it
The newest Avenger Stella wanted some privacy so she went to the gym and asked Friday to make it soundproof and then locked the door. She just needed to let go of her sadness for just a minute. She hoped, that no one would search for her. Stella turned on the radio, that she had brought with her and just let the angry rock and sad ballads carry her away, while she was hitting the punching bag. Sometime she punched metal, but not today, because last time Friday warned her, that he would call someone here and stop her.
While she was punching and the music was playing, she cried out her unrequited love on Steve Rogers aka Captain America. She was punching for about an hour, not caring that her hands were hurt and bleeding. She became numb.
-After two hours-
Friday asked Steve Rogers to go to the gym and try to calm down Stella, because she was pushing herself too far and she was crying. Steve started to run to the gym and the closer he got, the louder the music was. He recognised Linkin Park-Numb and now he was very worried, because he saw through the door her bleeding hands and her weak frame while she was still hitting the bag with what strenght she had left after three hours of punching. He tried to get into the gym, but Stella had locked the doors so he asked Friday for help. Friday quickly unlocked the doors for Steve and he went in and tried to talk her out of it, but she didn't listen, so he did the only thing he could. He caught her wrists mid-punch and slamed her against the nearby wall, holding her bleeding hands gently but also firmly and pressed her against the wall using his body.
For about five minutes she tried to get out of his grip, but he was still using his body to hold her against the wall. Then she just stopped and he looked in her green eyes. She looked pale and exhausted, but to him she had never looked more beautiful. He was in love with her for about 2 months, but couldn't get up the nerve to talk to her or ask her out. Now he felt her pressed against him and realised what intimate position they were in, but didn't let go. She felt good against him.
Stella was confused and her hands hurt , but the only thing she felt was Steve pressed against her and her heart jumped in her chest, because she had dreamed about this for a long time. Now she just looked into his blue eyes and just stared at him while he was staring back at her. Then she just couldn't stop herself. She pushed herself against him more and kissed him. She could feel, that he was shocked and he let go of her hands. Then he started to kiss her back and she just wrapped herself more around him. The need for air make them break apart gasping, but they were still looking into each other's eyes and Steve was still pressing her against the wall. He slowly took a step back and took her hand gently.
He smiled at her and she smiled back at him, because now her love was not unrequited anymore. She could see the love in his eyes. Together they slowly went to the medical ward in the building to patch up her hands. But the pain didn't matter to Stella, because she had Steve and they loved each other.
