How Can He Die?!

The year is AC 198. One year after the Mariemaia Battle. When Heero left the meeting he did not leave Relena. He stayed to protect her. He stayed out of sight so Relena wouldn't know he was there.
Place: New Port city, Sanq Kingdom
Relena is talking to Noin who is back with Zechs from Mars.
"Noin what do you think happend to Heero?" Relena's question cought Noin off guard.
"I don't know. I hope he is ok thou." Noin said as she walked with Relena.
*I hope he is too.* Relena thought as she and Noin walk into the living room.
"Miliardo why are you home I thought you had to work to finish?" Relena asked.
"I had to come home. You are in danger again and this time they sent the one person we can't stop." Zechs said with anger and fear for his sister's life. "As far as we know Yuy is the only one that can stop this man."
"Then that is it. Call all the other pilots. I want to say my good byes." Relena said with tears in her eyes.
"We can't give up. We have to hope for the best." Noin said in a caring voice.
"Noin there is no hope if only Heero can stop the guy. Heero will never come back no matter how much I want him to." Relena said with tears pouring from her eyes.
"Your Right Yuy can't save you. Now you will die!" The asassin yelled pointing a gun at Relena.
Every thing goes into slow motion.
"Nooooo!" Relena yells.
"Nooooo!" Another voice yells.
The person it came from runs in front of Relena with gun in had, and shoot at the same time as the Asassin dose. Both men fall to the ground. The man that saved Relena was Heero. But at what cost did he save her.
Back to normal speed.
"Heero!" Relena runs to him and see blood gushing from his side.
"Relena I...have...to tell....you something." Heero stuters.
"Don't talk every thing will be fine." Relena say with tear flowing like a river from her face.
"Relena I have to tell you this. I....love you." Heero managed before sliping into unconsiness.
"Heero? Heero! Please God No!" Relena yelled as the ems came in and loaded Heero up.

Three weeks later.
"Argh...My side." Heero said in a weak voice, as he woke up from the three week coma he was in. Heero glanced around the room and saw a sleeping figure with her head down on the desk next to his bed. "Relena" He whispered
"Heero don't go." Relena mumbled in her sleep. It cut into Heero deeply that he had hurt her so many times.
"Relena I am right here. I'm not going anywhere." Heero said shaking her from his bed.
"Huh... Heero your awake!" Relena threw her arms around Heero's neck. "I almost lost you. I can't lose you Heero, please don't leave me again." Relena was about to cry.
Heero moved a hand up like he had once before and wiped a tear from Relena's face. He moved his close to hers. "I am not going anywhere Relena I will be here from now till the day I die." Heero moved his lips to Relena's in a kiss that noone thought would ever happen.
