This is my first Pokémon fan fiction. I have made other stories with old users, but I never wrote a Pokémon story before. This is inspired by Mystery Dungeon, but the main characters are both people and Pokémon. I hope you enjoy, and if you do, please review it!
As we all know, it started with an egg. Once it hatched, the great Arceus was born. It then created the dragons of space, time and antimatter. Once the world was fully created, and all other things and beings within it, Arceus ascended back into the sky, watching what he had created. And so it continued, for countless years. Yeah, you all know that, that's what I expected. But in a time, where people and Pokémon had built a greater society than ever before, dangers were about to occur. It began when.. Well, it began before that, as you will see. But this character's part of the story began at this point.
The alarm clock rang. Kyle quickly got up. He had gotten his trainer license two years ago, but both then and the year before he had been too late. New starter Pokémon had been trained to accompany young trainers, and the 12-year old thought to himself there was no way he was missing out this time. He brushed his teeth and got all his clothes on. Black cap, dark blue jacket, black pants and green shirt was what he wore. He made sure he had packed everything he needed, and rushed out the door. He started running through the town, passing by various houses. It was only 08:15 AM, but as the laboratory would open at 9, he had to make sure he got there first. He decided to take the fastest route, so he had to run through a tiny patch of wood that connected to the forest. He would regret that later.
He had just made his way through, when his eyes fell upon two Pokémon battling fiercely. He quickly got his Pokedex, which he got at the Pokémon laboratory instead of a Pokémon two years ago. The screan read: "Ursaring, the Hibernator Pokémon. Ursaring leaves scratches on trees that hold fruits or berries with good taste". He turned it to the other. "Arcanine, the Legendary Pokémon. This Pokémon is considered magnificent. People have been enchanted by its pride since long ago". Kyle then got his video camera out, and recorded the combatants. The Ursaring slashed the great fire dog across the neck with its strong claws, but the thick golden mane prevented a big wound. Arcanine then let loose a beam of hot flames against the great bear's chest. Ursaring only seemed to get angrier. Kyle was fascinated by the intensity of the battle. After a long battle, Arcanine got the upper hand and chased Ursaring into the woods. Just as Kyle was about to turn his camera off, he noticed the clock. It was only 5 minutes to nine! He started running as fast as he could, and reached the laboratory at 08:59 AM.

So, I hoped you liked it! I'm sorry it was so short, but I couldn't write more because.. You'll see why. It hasn't reached the main plot yet, but it will soon. Before I write the second chapter, I want YOU GUYS AND GIRLS to vote which region and town Kyle will be from, and what professor he is meeting. Also, I want ideas for name and appearance/personality of a female main character. As always thanks for reading!
