Too Soon

Banished too young
Take charge, choose a course
Find your prize, bring it back
Return home with your honor
Or don't come back at all

Alone too much
See those kids running around,
Spending time with their dads
Look away quick, a tear in your eye
Don't you wish that was you?

Defeated too often
Life is tough, get used to it now;
Disappointment's down the road
You can't win every battle;
Everyone loses sometimes

Confused too frequently
Stay or go, help or hurt?
It's your choice, make it right
Friends or enemies?
Changes sides if you want

Start a new life, pick it yourself
Leave this place, do whatever
It's your call this time, don't listen to them
Make up your mind, tomorrow's almost here
Became a man too soon
