This story was inspired by a conversation me and my friends were having at lunch today...more like a simple line jokingly added to the conversation. You can see what kind of things we talk about. Haha. Anyway, one of my friends (soundninja888) said I should add to one of my chapters of Nightmares of the Past, to add some comedy. Well instead I decided to make it it's own one-shot instead because I thought it would be better on it's own. So enjoy!
They'd been sneaking around for months. Not even Tom or Harry knew anything about it, and lived with the sly brunettes. Just goes to show how good they were. They weren't sure when to tell them. They wanted to see how the relationship would last at first. But now things were still going great, so why still hide it?
It was probably just the inner fear of being scrutinized and kicked out of the band they had reasoned one afternoon while they were laying in bed together. They did want to tell. They just weren't sure how.
Tom walked into the kitchen, grocery bags in his hands. He didn't notice the two younger boys running down the stairs to help him. He also didn't notice their appearance, which was well let's just say…messy. He put the bags down as Danny walked out the door, to get the mail he had said. Tom checked to make sure he was out the door and turned to Dougie who, by this time fixed his appearance some, was unloading the grocery bags.
"We need to talk." He started, and helped the boy put the groceries away.
"About?"
"When are you going to tell Danny you have a crush on him?" So he has noticed something… He thought to himself, but did not falter.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Tom. I do not have a crush on Danny. I'm not even gay."
"Sure you're not."
"Seriously, I'm not gay. I'm straight."
"Yeah, straight as a circle." Tom said with a laugh. Dougie just glared at him.
"Now, now Doug. Let's play nice." Danny said as he walked up behind him and wrapped an arm around his waist. "We both know that Tom's right. We're both straight as a circle." He smirked and kissed the boy. Tom laughed at the surprised look Dougie's face.
Truth was Danny had already told Tom. Dougie was the one who was still concerned about telling. So Danny just wanted the younger boy to get it out, even if it meant giving him a little nudge.
Please review! They make me smile...especially when I'm not too sure of what I've written. (which is the category this falls under) And I should have another chapter up on Nightmares of the Past soon...I hope...
