Pepper's Big News

Pepper looks anxiously at the stick in her hand, the one that will change her life with those two little lines. On one hand, she is excited about this baby. On the other, she is nervous about how Tony is going to react to the news. After all, they've only been married a few months, he was probably wanting more time with just her before having kids, if they ever had any. She takes a deep breath, hearing the door open and Jarvis greet Tony. She stands up and walks over to him, giving him a kiss.
Tony smiles, kissing back and says, "Hey. How was your day?"
Pepper smiles, nervously, "Great. I got some news."
Raising an eyebrow Tony starts to say, 'What kind of….."
He trails off seeing the pregnancy test in her hands and gently takes it out of her hands. He looks at the lines on it and says, "You're pregnant."
She nods, watching his reaction anxiously. She breathes an internal sigh of relief when a smile breaks across his face, "There's a baby in there. My wife is pregnant with my baby… This is great. We've got to start getting ready. He'll need a crib and diapers and toys and his own suit and…"
Pepper kisses him, cutting his rant off, "Chill. I'm probably not very far along, so we have months, and why on earth would a baby need a suit?"
"Because he's my son."
"What makes you so sure that it's a boy?"
"Because it's my baby."
"It could be a girl."
"Fine, if it's a girl, we'll make her a pink suit."
Pepper rolls her eyes and thinks, "This is going to be a long nine months."
A/N: I know it's short and a little dumb. I just wanted a cute little fluffy story. I'm probably eventually going to write one about Tony trying to take care of a baby because that would probably be funny. Plus, it's so cute picturing Tony as a daddy.
