Winter's Love
A NaruHina Fic.
The violet haired girl was sitting in her living room, close to the warm, crackling fire of the fireplace. She wished that her heart could be as warm as the room, but it was actually as cold as the blizzard outside. She stood up and took her beige jacket of the coat hanger. Outside she went, through the cold, snow storm. Her feet walked her all the way to the hospital where she planned to do something so hurting.
"Are you sure you want to do this, love?" The lady behind the counter said, holding some papers in her hands. The quiet girl nodded and started filling out the forms for the abortion, holding back the tears she's been fighting back since day one. The nurse looked at her with some comfort, telling the quiet girl that everything was going to be all right.
Again, the girl dragged her feet back to the house, where she lived, with the love of her life, Naruto. At first everyone didn't get what she saw in him. He was loud, obnoxious and way too annoying. But in her gray eyes, she saw him as someone who can always keep you going. She needed that desperately.
"Ah! Hinata, you're back! I've made a special dinner for you. I was bored, so I decided to cook something for you." The blonde boy smiled and walked over to his girlfriend. All what Hinata did was look to the floor as she knew that once he saw her eyes, he'd be asking what was going on. She wasn't ready to tell him yet.
The blue-eyed boy hugged the smaller person and gave her a kiss on the lips. Though he didn't feel a kiss back. Immediately, he asked, "What's wrong?" The violet haired girl took a deep breathe and finally looked up to the sapphire eyes, full of concern.
"I-I…Naruto…please, sit down…I-I…have s-something t-to s-say." She was stuttering her words. What she only did when she was scared or nervous. In this case, both. Naruto sat down slowly on the blue couch placed in the living room. Hinata was standing in front of him holding up her arms in front of her, trying to put some space between the two.
"I'm…h-having a-a-n ab-b-ort-tion…" she finally let the words escape her mouth, also bringing out tears that she wanted to keep in. The pale girl looked at the blue eyes, that were once full of life, and happiness. Now they were as dull as a storm, and very shocked. He sat there, staring at the small girl, trying to get his mind together. 'Abortion?' He thought, 'S-she was p-p-regnant?'
Naruto stood up, walking closer to the girl, "I-I'm sorry Naruto. I t-thought that you would…never want… a c-child, I-I was …scared… I t-t-thought that yo-you'd throw m-me a-way…" She started crying uncontrollably, not being able to keep a hold on her words. Her knees let go and let her collapse to the floor, but with arms around her. She looked up to see whose arms; it was the one and only Naruto.
"Why…would you think that…?" He asked, and then took a breathe, cradling his lover, "I love you…and of course I'd want to start a family with you…" He gave a little smile. That was all she needed, that little smile to give her all the hope.
"O-okay. I'll cancel it then…" she smiled back, then the blonde leaned in and kissed her on her salty lips from the tears she brought. The violet haired kissed back, and once they broke apart, she said, "I love you too…" They both smiled softly and sat there holding each other, in front of the fire, warming them on that winters night.
