Minerva McGonagall, Hogwarts' Headmistress walked into the Headmaster's office and noticed that he was writing in a leather bound book she had never seen before. When she asked said Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, what it was she was surprised by his odd answer: "My Weekly".

Dear Weekly

This week Minerva caught me writing in here and asked what I was doing. It was rather amusing watching her try to refrain from commenting on my often noticed oddness.

I'm afraid however that it was one of the few truly amusing moments of my week. Even though I usually enjoy the time when we send the letters to the new students and the visit to the first-year muggleborns – it is one of the best feelings in the world, to see their faces light up with joy and understanding. But I digress…

The reason why this week wasn't as good as those in the previous years? Harry Potter! He doesn't seem to be receiving his letter… and of course I had Minerva complaining about how horrible those Muggles are, and how it is obviously their fault, all week. Not to talk about Severus insisting that he was obviously a spoilt brat and an arrogant idiot just like his father and isn't opening his letter because he feels he is superior... This is all becoming all rather tiring.

That was only the school business, of course. I can't seem to be able to forget the fact that there are elections coming up for the Minister of Magic andI am, once again, swamped with letters asking me to take the job, despite the fact that I am the Headmaster of Hogwarts and have refused the position several times already. Cornelius seems to have made a good campaign this year and will probably win again.

Well, Poppy seems to be on her way to my office right now, so I don't have the time to write anymore.
