Prower-Storm 4th of July
"Johnny, what's 4th of July about?" Cream asked innocently.
"4th of July is the day we celebrate our country's freedom from Great Britain that we fought for in the American Revolution from 1775 to 1783", Johnny said.
"Wow, you're smart, you know your history", Cream said.
"Yeah, I am smart...oh God I'm gonna turn into a nerd", Johnny said.
"Being a "nerd", as you call it, has it's advantages Johnny, and you utilized that to teach a younger person about our country's history, be proud of that", Reed said.
"Quiet Reed", Johnny said, narrow eyed.
Reed sighed and went over to Cream, "Think of it as America's birthday".
"Do we bake America a cake?" Cream asked.
"I can go for some cake", Johnny said.
Reed rolled his eyes and briefly chuckled and walked off.
"I'm serious dude, I want some cake", Johnny said.
Cream giggled and walked off with Reed.
"Come on, I really want some cake! Give me some cake!" Johnny exclaimed and went after the two.
Later that day, Reed, Sue, Ben, Johnny, Cream, Cheese, Vanilla, Amy, Tails and Otacon all went out for a 4th of July BBQ.
"Soon the fireworks will start, it's gonna be totally awesome", Johnny said.
"Fireworks? That sounds scary", Cream said.
"It's ok Cream, nothing bad will happen", Tails assured her, and gave Cream a caring hug.
"Aw, that's so sweet, why won't Sonic hug me like that?" Amy asked.
"He just needs a little warming up to, he'll come around, I had to wait awhile for my true love, right Reed?" Sue asked, but saw that Reed and Otacon were busy calculating some material.
"See what I mean", Sue said.
"Pray that Sonic's not like Reed, or it will take a long while", Ben said with a little chuckle.
Amy sighed and waited for the fireworks show.
Everyone had some food to eat from the BBQ and sat back, Snake and Sonic soon arrived to see the show.
"Independence Day, something me and you work hard to retain for this country eh Snake?" Sonic said.
"Yeah, whatever", Snake said in his cold demeanor.
"Man don't you ever smile? I swear I've only seen you smile once, and that was more of a cold evil smile", Sonic said.
"I guess I'm not the happy type, now am I?" Snake said with the cold smile Sonic was talking about.
"There it is again, where's the happy smile? Smiles always make everything better, just ask Princess Elise", Sonic said.
Amy saw Sonic arrive, "SONIC!" she ran to him.
"AH! Snake save me!" Sonic said.
Amy got closer to Sonic but Snake stood in her way.
"Can't you just greet him normally, maybe then he wouldn't be so freaked out by you", Snake said.
"You're right, I'm sorry", Amy said.
Amy went to Sonic and shook his hand.
"Nice to see you to", Sonic said.
Everyone seemed amazed by this.
"Wow, Snake's got some really good advice", Sue said.
"More to him than meets the eye", Ben said.
The fireworks then went off.
"Whoa look at them go", Sonic said.
"Really remarkable", Otacon said.
"I'm kinda scared", Cream said and held Cheese close, who was also scared.
"It's ok Cream, there's nothing to be afraid of, we're here for you", Tails said.
Cream sobbed a bit and then held on to Tails.
"Cream, nothing's gonna happen, watch this", Johnny said and flew into the sky.
From there he started to make a Fantastic Four symbol in the sky while shouting happily.
"See, nothing to be afraid off, cause The Fantastic Four will be there to protect you, as will I", Tails said and smiled.
Cream felt a little better and hugged Tails, then waved to Johnny in the sky along with Vanilla, the latter who blew a kiss to him.
Johnny flew across the sky again and shouted, "HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!"
