Abby made her way up the stairs leading to her flat, Connor trailing behind her. He had been silent while Jack packed up and left and Abby didn't need to ask why. It was quite obvious that he was feeling quite uncomfortable about the kiss and wanted to talk to her about it.

Or at least try to. Connor usually babbled on until he had nearly forgotten what he had intended to talk about and, even if he remembered, he was normally too flustered at that point to continue. Tired of his silence, Abby decided that she needed to take matters into her own hands.

"Connor?" Connor looked up at her, but immediately looked away, once they had made eye contact. "Yes, Abby?" His cheeks tinged a soft pink as he spoke. "Did you want to talk about something?" She asked him. "Umm…well, I wanted to…uh, talk to you about the, umm…"

"The kiss?" A slight smile graced her lips, Connor was just so adorably cute, especially when he was flustered. "Umm, yeah, that…" His face had gone from a soft cherry blossom pink to red as a tomato. "Well, what about it?" Abby's smile got bigger when he refused to look her in the eyes.

"Well, actually, I have quite a few things to say, but most of them have been lost during the awkward silence. There seem to have been more awkward silences recently, I wonder what that's…" He didn't get to finish that sentence because Abby leaned in and captured his lips in a gentle, yet passionate, kiss.

She wrapped her arms around his neck as he began to respond to the kiss, his arms snaking around her waist and pulling her closer. Unfortunately, the need to breathe got the better of them and they pulled away. Abby looked into his eyes and asked, "Does that answer any of your questions?"

"It certainly answers the question about a repeat performance."

The End
