Okay! Guys! Sorry, for not being here for such a looooong time. I was quite busy.
And this is a dare. And I have to literally torture my two friends for this story.
Okay, this story is a two-shot. So,
Disclaimer: I own nothing here. Not the beyblade characters, the OC. Not even the plot.
So on with the story….
Now a girl was walking down a road. It was mid-night. The stars would have been twinkling in the crystal clear with the splendid appearance on the moon. But the clouds decided the other way around. They wanted to give someone company.
So they cried with the girl. The girl, was crying her heart out, silently, with the company of rain. 'Why should this happen to me? Anyway, even though it's in the past, it still feels like yesterday.'
Flashback
"Daughter! Run!" Her mother yelled at her. Her father was lying dead near the foot of the killer who is going to murder your mother. "Go away, Dizzavza! Run for your life! We don't want you to die." Her mother yelled.
But she was scared. She was just 10 years. What does this poor thing know of the world? The eyes of the killer fell on Dizzavza. "So, my granddaughter is not going to run. Just like her father. But she won't suffer the same fate as my son."
He looked at the man near his feet. "I'll make her future a brighter one. Brighter than you could ever dream of giving her." The small girl was now near the monster who was strangling her mother in the neck with just his bare hands. "Leave my mom! I'll do want you want. Please!" The little girl's eyes began to water profusely.
"Good girl! Now you are under my control. But that's not going to stop the unpreventable." The Grandpa yelled and slit the throat of the mother with a nearby kitchen knife.
Flashback end
She doesn't want to think any more. Not the gore. Not the blood. Not her mother's last screams. She tried to swallow the lump in her throat, but it was useless. She then removed her glasses as she walked and put them on the floor, not worrying about her eyesight or the glass.
She was still walking, now tears almost blinded her. She tried to forget the incident. But today, was their death anniversary. It's been years since that monster killed her parents. Soon, more tears swelled in her eyes, as he had given up wiping them long ago.
She was walking down a deserted street. Suddenly, a shape came out of nowhere and slammed on her. She was snapped out of her trance. She turned back to scold at the running figure. But before she can find her tongue, the boy with grey and black hair, four shark fins painted on his face, turned around as he kept on running, and shouted a "Sorry!"
She then noticed that three others were chasing him. She just blinked at them. One had navy blue hair. One had blonde hair, the other had raven black. All of them were wet and damp due to rain. That's all she can notice, when they dashed past her.
"Hope that guy isn't in any serious trouble." She murmured. But what she didn't know was this incident clearly uplifted her mood. The rain broke down into a light drizzle, as she continued walking. She then looked at the sky where she could faintly make the outline of the moon through the clouds.
Then, the moon came out of the clouds and shimmered in all its glory along with the stars. She smiled softly at the moon and said, "Wish I could have someone to accompany me, just like the stars which accompany you where ever you go." Then she sighed longingly and started walking to her mansion, the place where, she wish, she would not have to stay.
Few days had gone past since the incident. But she couldn't just remove that face out of her mind. That face of the dual-haired one. The way his eyes expressed that he was really sorry for dashing into her.
Now she was walking on a road to the place where she worked. She sighed. She is going to quit this job too. She had managed to stay out of her grandfather's influence as much as she can. But somehow, he manages to bribe the head of where she works every time.
She just shook her head, "No. Not everyone is bad. I just want a new job. That's it." She told herself. She saw in a distance that an old man was trying to cross the road. Now, he was in the middle of the road, with no one helping him.
Dizzavza wanted to help that old man, who she guessed, was blind. But she was far away from him now. But her eyes soon widened in fear. She had spotted a car in high speed, towards the old man. She runs to help him, but deep in her heart, she knows. She knows that she can't reach him in time.
But suddenly out of nowhere, a young man pushed the old man out of the car's way and he too fell on the pavement due to his speed. The car never slowed down. Dizzavza was shocked but it turned into delight. She got near and noticed the young man. He was the same dual-haired she met few days ago.
She stayed a bit far, but close enough to hear the conversation. The old man started, "Hey! Why did you just pushed me off?" The dual hair just said in a calm voice, "A car was coming your way. So, I had to push you off of its way." The old man gasped, "Oh, young man! I'm sorry, I yelled at you. Usually I have good hearing, but as I have not eaten for days, my hearing has faded."
He tried to get up, but the young man helped him up. "I'm sorry! I haven't sold my pens in a while. This is livelihood. But…I guess thanks, young man! You are kind." Dizzavaza saw some light in the eyes of the dual-hair as he took out his wallet.
She thought, 'Maybe he is going to give the old man some money to feed himself. So kind of him.' But what he asked just confused her. He asked the old man, "Um, Grandpa. Can I have some hundred pens. I have some students who I have been tutoring for a while. This would be a perfect gift for him."
"Gladly, son! Gladly!" The old man uttered with an emotion called happiness. He took out some pens which were bundled as twenty pens each. "Here, son! Check whether there are hundred pens." The dual-hair just checked it and said, "Yeah! There are. Here is the money." And gave him the money.
"Thank you, son." The old man said and started to walk towards a nearby food stall. The dual-hair placed the pens in his bag and turned around. That was when he noticed that a girl was staring at him. But he recognized that face. Then it hit him. 'Isn't that the girl I almost ran into?'
Dizzavza noticed that she was staring at him quite hardly and when she realized he was watching her, she walked towards him. She stood in front of him and asked him, "You could have just given him the money? Why did you buy the pens?"
The dual hair just smiled softly, "Because everyone has a self-respect. If I had given him the money, it would have hurt him that I've him out of sympathy. You won't like it, when someone does the same with you. Will you?"
Dizzavza thought for a while, "No, that would hurt me. And you have a nice attitude. My name is Dizzavza. Nice to meet such a soft-hearted person." And she held out her hand to be shooked The dual-hair just looked at the out stretched hand, and slowly lifted his hands and shaked it.
"The name's Kai. Nice to meet you too." He said. Suddenly Dizzavza remembered something. "Hey! Why were the three guys chasing you that day?" Kai thought a bit and remembered the incident.
"We were playing some game. As I kept one winning, they got angry and started to chase me." He said. Dizzavza raised an eye brow, "You were….playing?" Kai just looked at her, "Yeah!" he replied.
Then they just continued their talking and getting to know each other.
