-whistles- woah. I haven't written a poem...in like...5 years, lol. But hey, I might as well start again. So, here goes nothing~

I look at you, as you look to the sky.
I know I've probably hurt you, most likely made you cry...
Your trying not to show it, hiding all feelings from your eyes.
But I've only said the truth, I haven't told you lies..
And that's the reason that your trying not to cry...
I said I would go with her, said 'with Kikyou I'll die'...
And yet, you never cease to want to stray from my side.
Your always their to smile, and breaking through my pride,
With each step, each walk, each unfaltering stride...
And so, now your emotions are being tried.
Your not the only one who's hurting, I'm roughing it too..
Conflicting emotions are clouding my thoughts between you two;
To keep my promise to Kikyou, or to stay protecting you...?
And now I hurt inside, because of what I have to do.
Just... oh Kagome... If only you knew...
If you knew the things that I've felt bad for putting you through...
And that I'd always want to stay beside you,
For get the old, and keep the new...
That deep down inside, That my feelings... were true...
But I can never say it... Say the words that may cost me anew...
The words that if uttered, would make me lose you...
Kagome... I hope you know it's true...
and as my last thought of the day... kagome...
