Jack stood out on one of the many Baskerville balconies, staring out at the evening sky quietly.
"Jack.." a voice came from behind him, snapping him out of his thoughts. Turning around, he spotted his best friend, Glen Baskerville. "Ah Glen!" he said, smiling at his friend as he leaned back against the balcony railing.
Glen stared at him for a moment, examining his friends face. "Somethings wrong.." he stated simply. "Ah hah.." Jack nervously scratched the back of his head as he laughed. "I don't know what you're talking about." He said, grinning his usual grin.
Glen narrowed his dark eyes at Jack, coming closer to him, so he was only a few steps away from him. "Liar." He breathed out.
Jack stared at him for a moment, before he chuckled lightly. "You know me to well Glen." He said with a grin.
Glen shook his head as he sighed, stepping closer to him as he leaned his face into Jacks shoulder. "You are my one and only friend…" me murmured quietly.
Jack was slightly taken aback, but it soon wore off as he looked down at Glen, a small smile forming on his lips. "As you are to me." He said, leaning his head on Glens.
Glen was silent for a few moments, before he closed his eyes, feeling more relaxed than he could remember ever being.
"I hope you can stop me when the time comes.." he whispered, almost inaudible.
"Huh?" Jack inquired, lifting his head up as he looked down at Glen curiously.
A small smile formed on Glens lips, as he stood up, looking at Jack. "You're hearing things now Jack. That's not very healthy." He stated bluntly, giving him a skeptical look.
Jack gasped dramatically, as he huffed and crossed his arms. "Am not!" he said, pouting as he glared playfully at his friend.
Glen just smiled lightly, shaking his head at his friend.
Sometimes he wondered how he befriended this idiot…
