This is a little thing I made.

Frisk remembered what had happened in the last two resets where when they walked into the judgement hall, Sans told them to think, had they done the right thing? Well, they may not have done the right thing this time, but it would be no different. It never was, or so they thought.

Then, they met him and it was different. They died a million times, and then a few thousand more.

Maybe I should reset. They thought. Maybe I should start over... ...no. I have made it this far, so I can keep going. I can destroy him and every last monster.

They remembered a prophecy from waterfall that said the angel from above would make the underground go empty. They also remembered that it never said how.

Me? An angel? Never. The underground going empty, though, is true.

"That look on your face," Said Sans. "It's the look of someone who has died a few million times. How about we make it a million more?" Then he said "ready?" and started his opening barrage. Frisk had gotten quite good at dodging this and his other attacks, but after a while, they died.

Sans did make it a million more, but Frisk had DETERMINATION. A few thousand later, Sans got tired. Frisk kept going. This was it. The final time. They died again.

But on the next one, they managed to go faster than Sans and slashed him with their knife. He said a few words that they didn't care about or even listen to, and he turned to dust. They had done it. Then, they went on to the castle. In the throne room was Asgore. He wanted tea, he got death. The little yellow flower was also destroyed.

Frisk felt guilt, but also satisfaction, knowing they had completed yet another route of this never ending game. A child appeared before them though. A child named Chara. They gave Frisk the option to Erase or not Erase the universe. They had to think about it for a moment. Then, they picked Don't. It was the ideal option.

Chara was clearly not happy with this, though. Their face seemed to melt and they yelled: "Since when were you the one in control?"

Frisk felt something get destroyed within them, scarred by Chara's knife. Then, the world reset.

They decided to not ever do that again. They would never commit genocide, but in the end, they felt empty, like they had no soul at all. They may have been a pacifist, but they were a soulless one.

Was this Chara's fault? Had they been controlling Frisk? No. Frisk was the one who chose to kill everything. Frisk was the one who kept going even though they knew it was wrong. Frisk was the one who had been in control until the very end, when she met Chara. This was no one else's fault.

This was their fault.
