It was Togusa's first day at Section 9 where many people are mostly cyborgs. He's the only human in the group when others are "strong" and "muscled."
Yep, that's right. It wasn't until he discovered that the Major and Batou are getting married.
Togusa then called Chief Aramaki through cyberbrain.
"Is this true that the Major will be getting married to Batou?"
Chief Aramaki said, "Exactly."
Togusa couldn't believe it. The Major's wedding—to Batou.
It wasn't until he received the invitation.
"Dear Togusa, you are our best man. Love, Batou."
Major is wearing a very long gown while Batou is wearing a tuxedo.
During the wedding, the Major and Batou exchanged rings. After the ceremony, they went straight to the reception which is of course—the office of PM Kayabuki.
"Oh, NO! Why should my palace be a grand reception for the newlyweds?" PM doubted.
Chief Aramaki laughed and said, "Hehehe, it may sound funny but it seems that you are the VIP of this celebration."
On the next day, Major was gone.
Togusa asked the chief, "Now who's the new field commander at this point?"
The chief answered, "YOU!"
"Wha—ME!?" Togusa asked.
The chief nodded.
"Oh, come on, you've gotta be kidding me," Togusa said.
"Hehehe, I'm just kidding," the chief laughed.
Togusa asked, "Now who is the REAL field commander!?"
The chief said, "That would be Batou."
Togusa then danced the caramelldansen with his joy.
