Battle of the Blood-Moon
The full moon drifted dreamily through the sky, the grey clouds blanketing the surrounding night air. The atmosphere was clogged with tension, and even the barn owls had retreated into their hollows. The silvery orb continued through the sky... Until, suddenly, the full moon fell directly in line with the highest peak of the highest tower of Fort Dragonfire. The ancient castle had fallen into ruin, and nobody on Berk dared to enter it anymore, for fear of the two great dragons, Passion and Defiance. They had supposedly turned to stone years ago, but you never knew...
As the moon clicked into place, it flashed a blood red for a second, then it went back to normal...
As Hiccup slept peacefully in his room, Toothless raised his head as the moon transformed. For a split second, his pupils narrowed and his teeth seemed to lengthen and sharpen, but then they returned to normal with the moon, and Toothless fell asleep once again, too tired to notice the sound of claws on the roof...
