As she walked down the aisle, he could already feel tears in his eyes.

The most beautiful woman in the world was going to be his wife. Korra. His Korra.

He remembered when he first confessed his love to her six years ago. That simple statement caused a journey together.

"I don't care if you're the Avatar or not." he said. "Listen. When Tarrlok took you, I was losing my mind at the thought of never seeing you again. I realized...I love you, Korra." Even after bad fights and a three year time period of not seeing each other, he never regretted one word.

Everyone in the ceremony rose. Korra wore a white short sleeved dress with glittering belt around the A line. Around her neck, she wore her blue betrothal necklace. Her hair was medium length and slightly wavy with a shining clip on the side of her head holding a portion of hair back.

Needless to say, she looked stunning.

In the crowd, there was the Air bender family, the Bei Fong family, Korra's parents and many more friends he and Korra made over the years. It was crazy to see how much everyone grown.

Bolin, his best man stood beside him and patted his back. "Good luck." he smiled.

Mako took a deep breath as Korra walked up the alter. The train of her dress traveled behind her. They then stood face to face, smiling love struck.

"You look beautiful." he whispered in her ear.

She blushed and joined hands with him. "You don't look too bad yourself." she joked.

Tenzin, who was the priest in the wedding, coughed to signal the couple it was time to get started.

"We are gathered here today" he announced ''in the sight of spirits to join together this man and woman in marriage." Mako saw Korra begin to cry and held her hands tighter.

"Do you have any special vows for each?" Tenzin asked the couple.

Mako coughed and raised his hand. "I-I do." He pulled a small crinkled paper from his tuxedo and unfolded it. He read:

"Korra, ever since you've arrived into my life, you given it meaning. You showed me something that I couldn't see. You've gave me hope, happiness, and most of all, love. Honestly, I'm not sure what I did to deserve you." His voice got shaky. But I do know this: I promise to love you. I promise to appreciate you. I promise for my arms to be your home. I love you, Korra. All I ask it for you to remember these vows for the rest of your life. I can't wait to spend it with you. "

Korra wiped streams of tears from her eyes.

"So...I really like and I think we were meant for each other." he smiled.

She laughed. That beautiful laugh that made birds sing.

"Do you ,Korra promise to love, cherish and honor your new husband?"

"I do." Korra smiled

"And do you Mako, take Korra to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"Then you may kiss the bride!"

And he did.
