"Ina chaaaan"
"What?" I asked glancing at the hyperactive boy beside me.
I frowned in distaste. He really need to stop before it got too annoying.
"Why don't play with me instead of lazing around here?"
She sighed.
"He really needs to stop or you need to go away."
She looked at the boy who was previously sleeping.
"Sorry Shikamaru. Shisui go away, don't you have friends or something?"
"Ouch. That's mean Ina chan, and to answer your question Itachi's training right now."
"Then you should be training too. Shoo shoo, go away"
Shisui sighed. " Fine. I guess you can't be persuaded after all. You're so stubborn Ina chan."
As he disappeared into a pile of leaves , Shikamaru sighed in relief.
" Finally"
As soon as I nodded off to sleep, I felt myself being shaken awake.
"It's almost 6. I'm going home. You should go home too."
I nodded.
I walked home taking in the view around me and smiled slightly. No matter what konoha really is the best.
"Hey, watch it!"
I blinked in surprise as I saw a flash of yellow pass through me."
The bustling atmosphere soon gave way to peaceful one as I neared home.
As I entered the clan premises I could see a lot of commotion. I frowned. I had an uneasy feeling. I ran to the place my mood was standing.
She looked at me with a sad expression.
" Mother, what happened?"
" Inari, Shisui is dead."
"Inari, don't cry. I'm sure Shisui doesn't want to see you like that."
"Nii san, he was being so persistent about
playing yesterday and I kept denying him."
"I'm sure you didn't mean it. Shisui will understand"
"Shisui knew he was going to die, right?"
When there was no answer from his side , I got angry, but I realized that getting angry was useless, I knew well why he wasn't telling me the truth.
Still, I pretended to be angry and stormed to my room.
Before I could go to sleep again there was a knock on my door.
It was my father. " I know shisui and you we're close but stop crying already. You're a shinobi in training! Instead of crying uselessly make sure to train harder so that you don't turn out like him!"
"Father! I-
"Now dry those useless tears and come down to eat. Don't let anybody see you crying again! For God's sake you've made me lose enough of my reputation as it is."
I bit my lip as he walked out.
He was sad. Even though he was acting like he didn't care, he was sad. The chakra at his core turned blue but he meant all the words he said because it didn't waver.
That was the one cool thing I got out of this life. Seeing emotions. It was weird at first. Happy meant the chakra at the center turned yellow. Blue meant sad. And the chakra wavering meant that person was lying.
As I concentrated, I could see my mother's and brother's chakra turn blue as well.
I sighed again as I got up and head to eat, telling myself to stop caring because it will only get worse from here onwards.
