"But I don't want to go to Idris!" Rhys protested, throwing his hands in the air.

"Rhys Ravenstorm, you do not get a choice in this!" His mother screamed.

"We had to move only three months ago! I'm not going to Idris." Rhys pouted, which for a twelve year old, was still acceptable. Rhys was short for his age and wasn't the fittest of Shadow Hunters, he had a bit of a stomach. He had brown hair that if left to long got dense and thick and then sprouted like a bulb. His parents had been forced to move multiple times due to work at Institutes and now were being brought to Idris. Rhys had been having this argument with his parents for a long time now.

"Well if you don't want to come, then go and search for an Australian Institute and we'll see if they will train you then!" Mrs. Ravenscar shouted down. Rhys thought this over for a second.

"Okay!" He announced and scrambled off to the Library, grabbing the book marked with all this Institutes, he began to read the information on each one before deciding that that was too hard. Instead he ran his finger down the list. Each time he passed a particular spot, it seemed to burn with Heavenly Fire. Rhys decided on that one and opened his eyes, printed in small text was the words:

Townsville Institute

And that was how Rhys was jetted to the small tropical city in North Queensland to become the newest member of the Townsville Institute. He nervously walked out of the portal and was greeted by Mrs. Ravenscar.

"Hello," Rhys said timidly. The Institute only had two people in it, Mrs. Ravenscar and Chelsea Ravenscar.

"Welcome dear!" Mrs. Ravenscar greeted Rhys with a warm hug. The portal slowly shrank back. "I would like you to meet my daughter Chelsea." She said. Chelsea stepped forwards and made a polite hello. Mrs. Ravenscar left Chelsea and Rhys alone together after a quick view of the Institute and Rhys had unpacked his things. Chelsea was a year younger than Rhys and had blond hair.

"Hi?" Rhys asked slowly.

"Don't make things hard around here. Don't get in my way, and remember who the brightest young Shadow Hunter is around here." Chelsea warned Rhys before leaving him in the gardens, standing awkwardly.
