A place that you go every day
He sees her at the park. The same time, every day, always sitting, head bent, looking at the worn wood of the park bench. She never speaks. He never talks. They nod at each other, acknowledge they're there.
He wishes he knew her name.
A place that makes you happy
The colors of the universe swirl through the air, bringing shades she never even knew existed. She reaches out to touch a golden stream of light, and then turns to smile at him.
"I'm so glad I met you," she says. And he knows it.
A place with trees
Leafy branches, sweeping through the air, covering everything. It would be brilliant if the trees weren't trying to kill them. She ducks, grabbing hold of his hand, and wipes dust off her ace. The hand still fits perfectly.
A place that scares you
The old house has stood at the end of the street for as long as she can remember. She never wanted to go there. But he's there this time.
So, she bunches up her fears, squeezes his hand... and opens the door. It doesn't seem as dark as it was.
A place with water
She's always loved the beach. It hasn't changed after all these years. She loves building sand castles along the sea side. She loves the childish expression on his face as he picks up a shell from the ground to show her.
A place with a strong emotions towards someone else
And now, he presses his hand against her door, wishing she was here, wishing she hadn't been taken away from him. Too soon. Too soon. He wants to hear her laugh.
He wishes that the room inside wasn't empty.
He wants her. But she's gone. And she's not coming back.
