(I own nothing, only Dawn. Enjoy)
Dawn sat on her king sized bed, but she wasn't in her room, she was on a ship. She was heading to Tortuga to make her way to Port Royal on foot. It was too long a journey to go straight to Port Royal, and dangerous in a pirate infested ocean. Dawn sighed and looked at the room around her, the same wooden walls, the same expensive rug. She shook her ginger hair and blinked her green eyes.
Once she was dressed she walked outside and watched the crew working. "Morning." A few of them spoke while the others just paid no attention. Her long dress kept getting caught on piece of splintering wood, "Urgh!" She cried out as she finally fell over, she lay for a moment before getting pulled up by some of the crew "You'll have to be more careful, Miss Dawn." They warned her as they took her back to her room to recover.
She nodded her appreciation and sat on the bed, "This dress is not worthy enough for me to wear." She frowned, quickly taking the dress off, not caring if it ripped. She looked down to her feet "These shoes!" She kicked the shoes off, bouncing them from the wall. She walked over to a dresser and took out some stolen breeches and a blouse. She put them on and slipped on a pair of boots.
"Better." She smiled, looking from her cabin window. Her long orange hair waving with the wind, Not very contrasting from the brown of the wooden ship. She poked her head back in as she heard a knock on the door. "Yes?" She called out, the captain walking through the door. "Hello Beautiful." He grinned, earning a hand brush to the face, which left a lovely red mark. Dawn giggled and watched him as he picked it up and threw it gently on the bed. "I just wanted to tell you, there has been a change of course, it shall take longer to get to Tortuga. So we shall not be there tomorrow." He looked her up and down "Are those my breeches?" He asked the girl as she hurried him out quickly. Going back into her room. She shook her head and stripped again, this time placing on a thin lace night gown that clung to her figure.
She rolled about on the bed before stopped as she heard shouts from outside. She shrugged it off and lay on her back, clutching the blanket. She heard the door open and before she could look up she heard, "Hello luv."
