This story is based upon an imaginary game of D&D, and using characters from my RP on Gaiaonline and my first story, so please go easy on me when reviewing. I do not own D&D or Gaiaonline, but the characters are mine for story purposes. Next to people's names I'm putting the username of that person for clarification. Yukimara is just Yukimara though, and Powora is Stav Gold's Kingdom of Loathing character. I'll be updating as much as I can, but if I can't then it is because I still have school work or I don't have computer access at the moment. LeonDeath of the Elemental Gang.

Am I forsaken to die in this world, one not of my choosing? To think that my day started out so well…

"Look out!" I shouted. My name is Leon Lionheart, but I was once Leon Anthopa. That was before Queen Godessiana Elenora Anthopa The Fifth (GodessAnthopa) divorced me. Now I have returned to my former name. Anyways, a few friends of mine, Xavier Mephross (xtheoneandonly), Yukimara, and Powora, had gotten together to play a game of Dungeons and Dragons to calm me down after the divorce. I had just rolled my dice for a new character, but they just kept tumbling and tumbling, and it looked as if they would hit Yukimara.

"No way! It is proven that if somebody interferes with the roll, then the person that rolled the dice gets a lower result then they would have without the interference!" He had me there, and that was good for him, because he always killed my character when we did play. Then again, I WAS a sorcerer, so that happens. Back to my roll, it hit him and then stopped. I couldn't look, scared that the roll would be bad, but when I did look, it was only a 14. "Lucky shot!" Yuki said. "I bet you ten gold pieces that you can't get a single higher score!"

"You are on!" I said before rolling the dice five more times. The results weren't too bad. I ended up with three 11s, a 12, and a 16. I had won ten gold pieces in addition to those good roles, so I was happy. Little did I expect my day to take a huge turn for the worse.

I had taken a computer over to Xavier's house so that none of us would have to DM, and he had installed his custom DM program onto it. It was now working on the campaign that would hopefully unite all of us into a working group, not just a bunch of mercenaries working together (maybe) to accomplish one goal. The enemies would be trying, enough to make even a seasoned player die rather quickly. That would be the beginning too, so it wouldn't be too easy even as we leveled up. It was having us start in an abandoned ruin, surrounded by forests. Once we cleared the forests (hopefully) we would come upon a huge battlefield where two sides would be fighting: one against the tyranny of the King of the land, and the resistance group . The rest depended on what the party then did.

Now I had my character, an Elven Bard, I needed to decide my alignment. I chose to be Neutral so I could do what ever I wanted. Everyone else was evil. I should have seen that as a sign of things to come, but I just walked over to the computer and started the campaign. The only problem was, nothing happened. Then the computer started emitting a brown glow….
