A/N: This came to mind randomly sort of. Partially based on an argument my mom and I have for fun once and awhile. Also, I'm from Ohio, so say pop, never knew until recently after talk to a friend of mine from Kansas that they say pop there. Was very happy. Anyways, on to the story. Enjoy!

Diclaimer: Don't own Supernatural, but do own the right to say pop. :D

They sat in the car, Dean in the driver's seat, Sam in the passengers. It had been several hours since they had stopped to get gas or anything to eat and Dean was starting to notice that he needed a caffeine boost or something because his eyes were starting to grow heavy.

"I'm gonna stop up here for a bit, fill 'er up and maybe get something to drink." Dean said from his side of the car.

"Sounds good, I could go for a soda myself." Sam said, sitting up in the seat.

"Pop."

"What?"

"It's pop, not soda."

"Does it matter?" Sam was a bit surprised that his brother would decide to argue about something as trivial as this.

"Yeah, you're from Kansas, you say pop, not soda, it's not like you're from New York or Jersey or some place like that."

"Dean, for one I'm barely from Kansas, I've been in so many places, I don't even know where I'm from, second, don't they only really say that in Ohio?"

"You're born in Kansas, you're from Kansas, and no, it's said in Kansas. Moving around has ruined your knowledge." Dean said as they pulled into a gas station.

"It has not. Whether a person says pop or soda is up to them, not up to the state they come from." Sam said as Dean made to get out of the car and start pumping gas.

"Just go get the drinks." Dean ordered and Sam sighed as he got of the car himself and went into the station.

Dean had just finished up and was putting the nozzle back when Sam came out carrying a bag in his hand.

"What'd you get?" Dean asked as he turned the key in the ignition.

"M&Ms, chips, and two bottles of soda." Sam said, grinning as he said the word soda.

"Just give me my pop." Dean said as he reached out his hand for Sam to him his bottle.

"Not until you say soda." Sam said.

"Don't think so, hand it over."

"What are you gonna do if I don't?" Sam questioned.

Dean didn't answer but only took out a tape and put it in. He then proceeded to blast Aerosmith to the point that he couldn't even hear his brother's shouts. The music stayed this way for about two songs until Sam gave in, knowing his brother could go the entire trip with the music at that volume. After giving him a tap on the shoulder he reluctantly handed over the pop.

"Thanks and it's pop." Dean said, smiling with victory after turning down the music.

"Whatever." Sam mumbled under his breath. Only his brother would choose to argue over something such as that.

The End
