A/N – This was an old school poem that I wrote of a contest. It lost, but I still like it…even though I don't believe in Greek gods.

O Poseidon,
O Lord of the Sea,
Help my little ship sail free,
Through your watery kingdom let it sail,
Let huge perils it prevail,
Let it live through your mighty wrath,
Let it fight off the monsters in its path,
But most of all,
O Lord of the Sea,
Let it sail home safely,
Let it come back to our humble home,
Don't let the sea become its tomb,
O Brother of Zeus,
O Lord of the Sea,
Help my little ship sail free.
