A Bone to Pick

"I NEVER NEW BEIN DOG WULD B DIS STRESSFULL"
"Pom, I think you're overreacting... We're the ones doing most of the work!"
"SHADDAP U STUPED SHIBE GAWD CANT A DOGESS DO HER SENSELESS RANTIN IN PEACE HEAR?"
"Well your senseless ranting is scaring everybody! Don't forget you're dog now and everyone can hear you when you yell because your voice is so loud!" Shibe cried, begging his sister to stop. Her voice had really gotten even more obnoxious since she became omniponent and all - if she raised it she could make announcements to the entire Doggy Heaven at once and she was seriously not used to it yet.

She finally calmed down a bit however and stopped yelling. Instead, she sulked on her fluffy pillow like a puppy.
"well wat r u waitin 4 shibe geet outta here. cant u tell i am busy sulkin over hao shitty my job is" Shibe didn't even respond, he was used to her behaviour and he loved her either way - like the loving, loyal dog he was. He just sighed and walked down the rainbow to the public part of Doggy Heaven. Little to his suprise Hus was right outside the gate waiting for him.

"Hey, are you allright? That was quite a fit she was having." He said when Shibe had gotten close to him.
"Yeah I'm okay. How are the others doing though, their ears aren't as used to Pom's yelling as I am." While Hus explained the situation, they ran together across the clouds and the bridges until they got to the frisbee-park where all the other inhabitants had already gathered.

They greeted the other dogs and calmed those who needed it. After a good 50 minutes they had finally convinced everyone there was no threat and that everyone could return home safely. Once they all had gone, Shibe layed down on the grass - exhausted.

Hus licked his ears to comfort him and with a burst of new energy Shibe rolled over on his back to play with him. The ran around and wresteled for a few minutes and then layed down together to rest.

"Hey Shibe, I've been thinking."
"Yeah?"
"Will you be my mate?"
"Wha-aaaaa?" Shibe exclaimed. Hus looked at him with his fierce eyes. They always looked fierce no matter what mood he was in, but once you got to know him you learned to pick up on the small differences his stare had depending on what mood he wanted to convey - the body language sure helped alot too though. Right now Shibe could clearly tell Hus was serious and a little nervous.

He thought about it for a moment, then spent another couple of moments - 10.44 seconds to be exact - thinking about how Pom would react to finding out about this. Surely he would never hear the end of it nomatter what he replied, yet the answer felt very obvious to him in his beautiful and pure doge-heart.

"Yes. Yes ofcourse I will, Hus!" He said and waved his tail happily. They licked eachother's noses lovingly then fell asleep right there on the lawn next to eachother.

"I KNEW IT"
"Pom, please don't yell."
"I FUCKIN KNEW IT"
"Pom. Please."
"DIS HWOLE TIME"
"Pom, I am begging you."
"DIS HWOLE TIME I KNEW SHIBE"
"Seriously Pom stop yelling!"
"THE GAY WAS TOO STRONG TO FAIL MY OTP IS SAILIN DA SEAS OF GAY ADVENTURE AT LAST"
"POOOOM PLEASE STOOOP IT!"
"shibe i am so glad u came to tel me bout dis. now plese excuse me i must start arrangin ur marriage"
"POOOO- wait what?! Marry Hus?!"
"yes"
"...Okay."
