Afraid When I first walked in and saw you standing on the pedestal, I was afraid to talk to you. You seemed so innocent, so pure, you were everything I wasn't, but then you spoke to me and even though you were arrogant and stuck up, I felt drawn to you.
And even though you said terrible things about my friends, I felt I could forgive you, but I knew in that instant that there was something about you that I had to have with me at all times, but couldn't, and pushed you away. When we talked I was afraid to like you.
The years passed and my feelings for you changed and grew stronger with every passing season. Through the school year I would see you and my heart would leap for joy before I could catch it and hold it away from the biting, hurtful comments you would so easily throw at me. But even through the sharp jabs and scathing remarks, I felt I could forgive you.
And finally the day came when I admitted to myself that I liked you and it was then that I was afraid to love you.
Then the day came that I had caused you to become so angry that during one of our arguments you lost control and kissed me. And my heart wouldn't listen to me and melted the ice I'd so desperately placed around it. When paradise ended and you pulled away, I saw the terror in your eyes and quickly kissed you again.
From then over come all obstacles life has thrown at us and are still together, but even after all these years, I'm still afraid to loose you.

Hey everyone. I know this isn't my usual stuff, but I was in math class and got this strong urge to write and this is what came out. I hope you liked it and ask for reviews. This is a one-shot and there most likely wont be anymore on this, but if you ask enough, I might write another.
