Hello all. Welcome to my new story. This is a remake of Church Full of Roses by Churchisalive. They have given me permission to rewrite this, so if you're reading this, thanks man. Anyway, on with the story.
Summary
After defeating the Space Pirates, the Reds and Blues find themselves stuck in Hargrove's office. With no other choice left, Epsilon deconstructs himself in order to save his friends. But what if, when Epsilon wakes up, he finds himself in a whole new world?
Chapter 1
"Carolina, we need an extraction!" Exclaimed Epsilon.
"Roger that." Came Carolina's reply over the radio. "We'll fire up a Pelican and be there in a few minutes."
Sparks begin to fly as the soldiers begin cutting through the door.
"Come on, get that door open!" A Space Pirate said.
The Reds and Blues all turned to stare at the door.
"We... may not have a few minutes." Simmons noted.
"Well boys, you know what they say..." Started Sarge, as he threw down his Plasma Rifle and drew his shotgun. "Today... is a good day to die."
"Permission to speak freely, sir?" Asked Grif. Sarge turned around to see Grif holding his 'Grif Shot'. "Fuck that."
"Hehe." Sarge chuckled and pumped his shotgun. The group started to fortify the office. Lopez flipped the table on its side. Simmons grabbed the Magnum and loaded it. Doc and Donut shoved the table against the door. Sarge stepped over the coffee mug, which read 'Charon Industries', shattering it. "Whoops."
Caboose held up Freckles.
"READY." Said Freckles.
Simmons walked past Tucker and Epsilon, holding the Monitor. "You think the laser on this thing still works?" He asked himself.
"We got this." Tucker said confidently. He turned round to face Epsilon. "I mean, we do got this, right?"
"I keep running the stats in my head... well I mean, we're close, but no. We're still short one piece." Epsilon admitted.
"What do you mean?" Tucker asked curiously.
"F.I.L.S.S.? The suit." Epsilon ordered.
The suit locker rose from the floor. The Reds and Blues stared at it. Doc dropped his Scanner in shock.
"What. The hell?" Tucker exclaimed.
"I saw it when I connected to the terminal." Epsilon explained. "It's got everything that we need." He looked at Tucker. "Tucker, take off your helmet."
Cut to the Reds and Blues in battle formation.
Grif held his brute shot, Sarge with his shotgun, Simmons had two Needlers, Donut had two Magnums, Lopez had two Plasma Rifles, Doc had his Rocket Launcher, Caboose had Freckles, and Tucker stood in the centre in Meta's former armour, wielding his sword.
"So how's it feel?" Epsilon asked.
"Kinda... tight in the crotch." Tucker admitted. The suit changed from white to cyan/aqua/whatever the fuck Tucker's colour armour is. "Buuuttt, I could get used to this!"
"Now that's a good look for you!" Donut commented.
"Prepare to breach!" Shouted a soldier outside the door.
"Gentlemen, looks like this is it." Said Sarge.
"Sir, it's been an honour." Returned Simmons.
"Si muero, asegúrense de que mis piezas sea recicladas." (If I die, make sure my parts are recycled.) Said Lopez.
Donut sniffed tearfully. "I love you too, Lopez!"
"Aw, that's so sweet." Said Doc.
"Now, let us strike fear into the hearts of our enemies, mwahahaha!" Exclaimed O'Malley.
Grif turned round to Doc. "Smartest thing you've ever said."
"Yeah! Let's get 'em!" Caboose said happily as he aimed Freckles at the door.
"Hey, uh, I just want you guys to know that, out of everyone I've ever met... I hate you all the least." Epsilon admitted.
"See you on the other side, Church." Said Tucker.
The Reds and Blues readied themselves as the door was almost cut through. Suddenly the sparks stopped moving. Epsilon sighed and he threw down his sniper rifle, which dematerialised.
"Not this time, buddy."
Epsilon-Delta appeared next to him.
"Are you... sure about this?" Delta asked.
"I'm sure... start a recording for me, D." Epsilon replied.
"Recording."
"Hey guys... if you're hearing this then it means you did it. You won. You kicked the shit out of Hargrove's forces. I knew you could. But this is my last stop. See, when I came into this world, I was really just a collection of somebody else's memories. But with your help, these memories... they-they took form! They becamemyvoice,my personality. And, after a while, I... I began to make brand new memories of my own. All of these things are what make me who I am... but they're also holding me back. I can't run this suit as Epsilon, but if I erase my memories, if I... deconstruct myself, the fragments I'll leave behind will have the strength to get you through this. I believe that. I wish that there was another way. But I'm leaving this message, as well as others, in the hopes that you'll understand why I have to go this time...
Hehe, it was actually Doyle who made me realize something that I've never thought of before. There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith..."
Epsilon shattered.
"Ain't that a bitch..."
Somewhere long forgotten
Darkness was all that Epsilon could see. Until he opened his eyes, and saw red. Like, lots of red.
"Ok… What the fuck?!"
This is just a filler chapter, as this is literally the dialogue from the last episode of Season 13. Also, both Red Vs Blue and RWBY belong to Rooster Teeth. Hope you enjoyed, and as always, this is Lolagejosh02 signing off!
