We had just come from a group of monsters attacking us… It seems the princess remains unharmed, for which I'm grateful, despite all the wounds I have received. We've finally reached Elrios, in the Ruben Forest. I am glad we were armed with my sword, the princess' sword, and my guardian's katana, otherwise we would all be dead now. But before I say that, let me explain who I'm speaking of. My name is Magnum, a Royal Knight of Princess Sofia and her father's. We come from a land unbeknown to the Elrios continent and decided to part from our village and head into Elrios to see what we can find. As I said before, I am travelling with the princess, Sofia. I gave my word to protect her when I was young, and so far, I have fulfilled that oath, even if help was needed at times. Even if the Princess can fight, I would hate to put her in harm's way just to be safe myself. But that's enough of that, I have not introduced my guardian; Mint. He journeyed with us outside of our village to go into Elrios. He seems to be skilled most in agility, not power, and he seems to have remained calm through all the attacks we had gone through in the forest leading to here. It's here in Elrios I hope I can learn more, perhaps find somewhere to train and fight. It is both my own and my guardian's wish. I decided to head to Ruben to gather supplies for our journey across the Elrios continent and told Mint to watch over the princess while she decided to rest. While going there, I had to go through yet another forest. I walked along for a bit and eventually found a girl sitting up in the trees who apparently goes by the name of Keane. She seemed to be obsessed with fighting me, but I eventually told her that I had only just came here, and that I was still tired from my journey to Elrios. In the end, she did give up on sparring with me. It was soon after this I ran into some kind of bird woman, an apparent Fallen Angel. Explains the black wings. She seems to be a kind person, when she WANTS to be. Hopefully she turns out to be kinder than her current self. Should remember not to get on her bad side, after all, that scythe looks deadly. And she seems to be….. strange, though Keane is a bit more strange. I've heard rumors of a training dojo in some city called "Elder." I thought that was the name of a superior, or an older sibling, but I suppose this is where my band will be heading after a few days here in Ruben. Our days in Ruben are done, with the "cat-and-bird" duo having gone somewhere in the meantime. We found out about some bandit named Banthus and his crew, who got away from us all each time we got closer. He's taken off to Elder, where we're heading now, to find some clues towards Banthus' whereabouts, and possibly explore more of this continent.
