"I hate you," Dean exclaimed, "Elvis? Really, man?"

"He's classic," Cas responded seriously, sliding the CD into the player.

The music started to swell, and Dean just stared at the CD player in a mixture of distrust and disdain.

"No, Zeppelin is classic. This guy is just old," he finally spoke.

"I like him," Cas crossed his arms, looking genuinely hurt as he plopped down on the couch next to Dean.

Dean's arm automatically went around his shoulder.

"Hey," he tried, "Hey, I can like Elvis. He's not bad,"

Cas just laughed, shrugging Dean's arm off of his shoulder. "Oh, be quiet,"

He watched as Dean tried to get into the music, failing miserably. It was actually embarrassing to watch. When Dean started singing, Cas decided it was in his best interest to cover his ears. Not necessarily because it was bad- it really wasn't. But Dean had insulted Cas' music choice, and revenge had to be won somehow.

"Wait," Castiel said suddenly, "This one's my favorite. Stop singing, you'll ruin it."

Dean raised an eyebrow and stood up, extending his hand.

"Dance with me," he said simply.

Cas shook his head.

"Are you serious?" he asked, suppressing laughter. He knew his resistance would be short-lived though; Dean could probably charm him into jumping off a building. His father had always taught him that blind faith was bad- but Castiel never seemed to have trouble putting his faith in Dean.

"C'mon, Cas," Dean grinned, and Castiel reluctantly got up to his feet. He placed his hands around Dean's neck and felt the pressure of the other boy's hands wrapping around his waist.

"This is ridiculous. I'm going to tell everyone that you're a big sap in actuality," Cas informed him, swaying back and forth.

"You wouldn't," Dean countered, kissing his nose.

"You are though," Cas continued, sounding rather far away, "A gigantic sap,"

Dean just smiled, looking at his feet.

"Take my hand," he sang, "Take my whole life too. But I can't help falling in love with you,"

"You're ridiculous," Cas smiled, leaning his head against Dean's shoulder.

"I know," Dean answered, his arms tightening around Castiel's hips.

"I love you," Cas said, the music swelling.

"I know. I love you too, Cas." Dean replied, and Cas could feel him smiling against his shoulder, "But I swear to God, if you tell anyone about this, even Sam or Charlie, I will personally-"

Castiel leaned back and pressed his hand to Dean's lips.

"Shut up," he said simply, "You'll ruin the moment, as well as the song,"

Dean pulled him back against his chest and they stood there, swaying back and forth until the song ended.
And then he put it on again.

"I like Elvis now," was all Dean said.
