He doesn't have super powers; he can't run faster than the eye can see and he doesn't have more strength than a thousand humans combined, he's not half computer and he can't live beneath water without pausing for air. He's a man; he can break, he can fall apart and he does, occasionally.
There was a time when he considered himself impenetrable, as much as any human could be. When he considered himself untouchable, even. But then life intervened and taught him lessons he sometimes wished he could forget. And he met people who were far superior to his strength and abilities. But that didn't stop him.
Oliver Queen was Green Arrow – an average man who had taken every opportunity to be far more than average. He was not unbreakable, unbendable, there were things that could stop him at their will. And he'd come upon many of them.
While he wasn't impenetrable he had the spirit to do whatever he could; he had the strength to accomplish whatever possible. He had learned along his way to never underestimate himself or others. So while he stood atop the world, ready to do battle for the greater good, amidst the most formidable of men and woman, super or otherwise, he knew only that whatever came he would face.
"You ready for this, Green Bean?" her voice asked through his earpiece.
And he smirked. "Bring it on."
