Chapter I: I, the Hunter
Ages ago, I made a vow. I made a vow to hunt down monsters, not to eradicate them, but to keep my home town safe. As I made that vow, I was heavy of heart, I didn't take pleasure in hacking down a beast because I get payed. I hunt because of the pleasure I get that I can keep my family, and my friends safe. I, the hunter of my town, my tiny, insignificant town, have changed. I no longer hunt to keep safe the loved ones at home, no longer do I hunt to keep away the beasts that prowl the woods, hunting for their next meal. I hunt, for revenge, to find and kill the damned brute that destroyed my home, my family, while I was away. I, a hunter, am becoming no better than those that hunt for sport. Stooping to a much lower level, I run. I run from the ruin that was my home, I run from the burnt, and still burning corpses that litter my life, and I run. Oh, and did I run, I ran all the way to Loc Lac, hunting central, only stopping for sleep, food, and drink. My time has come, and I will hunt. And oh, will I hunt.
Author's Notes: Short chapter for the plot base and a description. You can guess what monster ruined his/her life, and whether or not he/she will get revenge. Spoiler alert, also hint, home town was at the volcano. Please, review, and suggest what he/she should fight, and don't be afraid to give OCs if you have them.
