She woke up from the Morgue. Last she checked, she committed suicide. Felt her skull break apart and brains splatter like an egg hitting concrete. But now...she's apparently...not dead. So being unable to die is her Quirk?

ZOMBIE!

The police gaped as the suicide victim was alive and kicking, as she wandered around the station in a daze. So the Chief had her brought to his office.

'M-Midoriya-san, how are you alive?!' Chief of Police, Tsuragamae Kenji sputtered out.

The girl now sported very-unhealthy-pale skin, and blood-red eyes.

'Your mother just left not long ago after crying hard...' said Detective Tsukauchi, shaken by the dead girl who's alive again.

'How...? Beats me.' Midoriya Izumi spoke tonelessly, devoid of life. 'I ended my life for the misery being a Quirkless brought me and now I can't even die and be free from this shithole of a world...'

'So its like that...' Tsukauchi said softly, cringing in sympathy. 'Were you...bullied in school?'

'Like you wouldn't believe...even teachers turned a blind eye to the bullying, even mocking me for years.' Izumi said bitterly. 'In Daycare, Elementary and now Junior High...and my ex-childhood friend who was the worst of them told me to go die in hopes of being born again with a Quirk with a smile on his face...' Izumi laughed bitterly at her tale causing discomfort to the two men before her. 'I did just that but not for that reason...I'm fed up with it all. Its laughable that they who have villainous natures wish to become heroes after making someone's life hell just for simply existing...and now I'm apparently a zombie like in the movies. What, do I eat people now too?'

'Erm, we'll have to find out somehow...r-right Chief?' Tsukauchi asked his grim-looking boss.

'I don't like this.' said Tsuragamae. 'Midoriya-san, you suffered a lot to the breaking point but ironically, your death awakened your...unusual Quirk.' he said with a grimace. 'We'll have to do some tests on you to help you learn its full scope...and hopefully, without the weird diet...' he choked out.

'I don't wanna eat people either.' Izumi drawled. 'Why would I want to eat monsters? If I had such a diet, I'd rather starve than be infected by their villain personality.' she spat coldly.

The two officers exchanged looks.

This girl developed a hatred of the world, a potential Villain Flag not her fault...but rather...her school's fault and a friend's betrayal. They created her by breaking her spirit for years.

'We'll have you under protection custody for a few days, we have to talk to a lot of people regarding your Quirk...you have an additional toe joint and yet...how on Earth did this happen?'

'Beats me, ask the scientists.' said Izumi flatly. 'By the way, can you shoot me in the head?'

'WHAT?! NO!' the horrified men yelled.

'Besides, owning guns for us Police Force is only allowed in arresting Villains, but we're not allowed guns in the station!' the chief sputtered.

'What, can't die anyway.' Izumi shrugged. 'But I want to try since I'm fed up with this world. I hid my suffering from mom but enough is enough.'

'NO MEANS NO SO NOOO!'

She was put in a padded room as a result of her suicidal tendencies with female guards outside her door.

Izumi was thinking.

She woke up from the dead.

She began to experiment on herself by punching herself.

No pain.

Bit her tongue hard to the point of biting it off...the severed tongue quickly decomposed and a new tongue grew back!

"Oho?"

She used her left knee to break her own arm in two...it snapped back in place and healed as if nothing happened, but each time she heals, she gets tired a bit.

'So it takes some of my energy huh?' she muttered.

She could only wait.

Midoriya Inko could not believe her eyes.

An hour after coming home, the police knocked on her door demandingly, pale-faced and she got told her daughter...had an unknown type of Quirk as she basically returned from the dead, and was found wandering the station in a daze, apparently in utter disbelief herself.

When talked to, she committed suicide because she was fed up with life from every day bullying and teachers turning a blind eye to her plight, sometimes even joining in the mocking. School was hell for her and apparently a childhood friend told her to 'go die and hope you're reborn with a Quirk in the next life' that pissed her off and stormed the Bakugos next door with the police.

'MITSUKI! MITSUKI!' Inko yelled angrily, pounding on the door.

'Inko? What is it?' Mitsuki asked worriedly at the furious woman.

'Is your son home?' Inko growled as this really worried the blond woman.

'Madam, we will explain the situation, so we need both of you to stay calm.' said Tsukauchi firmly, but nervously.

'What has my idiot of a son done now?'

Bakugo Katsuki thus has no idea what awaits him at home...after arcade after school.

Police Station...

Inko was impatiently waiting for the door to be opened by the guards to see her daughter who had to be in a padded room with a dang good reason. 'Izumi!'

'Hi mom.' Izumi smiled. 'I'm a zombie now I guess.'

'I don't care as long as you're not dead!' Inko sobbed, hugging her daughter tightly. 'B-but I heard you'll be under testing...are you gonna be OK?!' she asked fearfully.

'I don't feel pain at all...I bit my tongue off, the severed part quickly rotted while I regrew my tongue back.' Izumi piped. 'Then I broke my arm over my knee, it snapped back in place and works again.' the adults were horrified. 'Oh, I tasted my own blood when I bit off my tongue but I'm not hungry for human flesh which is a bonus but blood is very tasty...I think I'll be living off blood packs from now on...or the Villains...but I don't know what else I can do...oh, I crushed my own skull...three minutes ago...'

That explained the blood on her face!

'My hands are strong enough to crush bones now?'

'IZUMIII!' Inko's high-pitched scream echoed in the Padded Prison Halls that got the horrified officers cringing.

'I'll try reabsorbing my blood if it works...'

It did.

'Not even a padded room is safe for a Zombie!' the doggy chief exclaimed in dismay. 'You experimented with yourself in there?'

'Yeah...my hobby was after reading a lot of science books...physics, chemistry, biology, I analyzed a ton of Quirks I see on TV.' said Izumi in her newfound lifelessly toneless voice. 'I need more tests done. At least I like blood but I never liked raw flesh. I wonder how I am in normal food...'

Needless to say she got tested.

Raw meat? Rejected! It was too salty for her she can't take it. She was psychologically affected by her hatred that if not for that, she could bring herself to eat bloodied butchery.

Organs, human and recently deceased? She only liked the liver but rejected dirty livers, dirty from alcohol and who-knows-what-else.

Injured person with a stab wound just so she could lick his flesh too? She only liked blood, not his muscles and sinew. She says its 'too salty like meat' she can't bear it and ran for the nearest water dispenser out of disgust...only to learn she can't ingest water as it made her sick akin to eating bad food! She can only use it to clean herself up. Desperate to get rid of the salty taste, she licked the man's blood again that brought her relief.

Its still scary to watch a girl look in bliss upon ingesting blood...then again, she's a Zombie...however, being licked by her actually heals wounds when licked many times. This was a really disturbing way to heal...

Boiled meat? 'Tastes like soggy tissue paper! Yeeechhh!'

Vegetables? 'Extremely grassy even when cooked! Yuck!'

Sashimi? 'Yummy and just right...'

Rice? 'Gross...'

Fruit? She liked sweet ones, rejected sour and tangy ones.

Seaweed? 'I don't know...at least its not disgustingly grassy, I'll try swallowing it.' when she did, she got sick and had to throw it up.

Shellfish? 'Nicely gummy...' she can safely eat it.

'Its safe to say this is a zombie that likes seafood.' the government scientist deadpanned. 'She defies all movie tropes Hollywood Directors decided on! The only thing they got right is that she likes blood and liver!'

'At least its seafood and not people!' Inko cried while her daughter spoke the same words at the exact same time with her mother in her flat, deadpan voice.

'Like hell I'll eat Villains.' Izumi sneered.

'We'll test her body in a facility just to know what else can she do, and we'll burn samples with Pro-Heroes watching.' said Tsuragamae. 'At least diet is easy to figure out in the station...and the fact that she's painless! How about strength training we can definitely do in the Police Academy?'

xxx

Stamina? - Infinity. She doesn't need air nor can never suffer muscle fatigue that she can keep running. At the fastest even on superhuman levels as had a normal person done that, Quirk or not, they will tire with sore legs and lungs-on-fire to match.

Sprinting and jumping - 2 meters at her best. With no pain in her way, she can push her body to impossible levels. Torn muscles and ligaments while doing this was ignored as she heals fast.

Strength Training? - she can lift and push with her legs up to 300 kg. Any more, her arm would snap off horribly, the severed arm would immediately turn to ash and a new arm will grow back! Grip training, she can crush hollow metal that's two inches thick. Wall punching with the toughest Concrete money can buy? She can make a dent deep enough for a punch bowl. Metal doors? Leave prominent fist stamps about three inches deep but can't wreck it unless its thin. She can effectively punch her way through rock nonstop. Throwing training? She can lift and throw the likes of muscular heroes that don't surpass 300 kg.

Infection? - upon gaining a volunteer who'd be compensated, Izumi splashed the officer with her blood...nothing happened. Injecting with blood? Well...it quickly became a forbidden technique that would lead to her arrest if she did it again unless with a dang good reason. She can also free the people she put under her control by taking back her blood they have. Izumi needed a wound to suck her blood back through.

In the laboratory, her body was literally dissected but had to be quick as she heals fast. The authorities want to know what can make a Quirkless gain a Zombie Quirk.

She's literally immortal. Crushing her brain can't bring her death. Just that she's amnesiac for at least, days on end depending on how badly was her brain crushed.

Her own heart? Nada.

The only way to truly kill her was to destroy her at a molecular level. Izumi was utterly disappointed.

Chemicals did not work on her.

Endeavor tried Fire...that, was the only time she could feel pain. 'Well, one thing Hollywood got right...'

Regeneration tests? Too much and she gets very hungry. If hungry but very hurt, she cannot regenerate.

She's fertile, but whether or not she passes on her Quirk is up in the air. And nothing about her body reveals how she became a Zombie so theory was in her mind. She also is perpetually ageless. She's forever fourteen years old and can never die as her telomeres never degrade year by year. For her to die, she has to be utterly destroyed. At least her body can still be affected by science as her body adapts and heals...that the test subject hysterically wanted free treatments right away to look adult at least in body.

She thankfully does not smell like a corpse nor has stinky breath. As a zombie, she cannot sweat nor have body odor but her body is perpetually cold she can never be warm.

Temperatures were tested, she felt nothing.

Endurance...it was a horrible sight, but she recovered from it all with a deadpan expression and boredom to match. And eats when she gets hungry.

Counseling Therapy it was with Recovery Girl...and Izumi felt better letting out her school history that led her to reject humanity as Villains before taking the plunge. She also said all her feelings that got her extremely angry just remembering it all there was a final discovery.

When she gets sufficiently angry, she goes in a feral berserk rage with Killing Instinct she can't tell friend from foe Arbor Woods and Best Jeanist combined had to restrain her nonstop as she breaks free continuously until she calms down. When no sign of it happening, Eraserhead was called over...it worked.

'Maybe that's what sealed the deal...rejecting her humanity out of hatred of people.' said Recovery Girl as she had to be taken away for her safety from the feral zombie. 'In a world like ours, you can say she became a Datenshi.'

'Sad girl but alas, society is at fault. They created this sad girl.' Best Jeanist shook his head, pitying the teenager.

'Looks like she's in your care Shouta.' said Present Mic to the scraggly-haired man. 'You're the only one who can calm the kiddo and she absolutely has to stay with you for everyone else's good. And its a for-life deal apparently.'

'So I guess I'll have to move in with her mom now...troublesome...' Eraserhead sighed. But he's basically a zombie's leash now...

'Well, at least we know her weaknesses incase she gets nuts.' said All Might somberly. He remembered talking to her...before she committed suicide.

'The kid hates saltiness, can't eat what we can, water and fire...and Eraserhead. And keeping her hungry, she can't heal. To heal people she has to lick their wounds.' said Endeavor as the adults squirmed at the idea. 'She has to attend UA no matter what.'

'Well, since her current school is a no-go zone, she'll have to stay home schooled and get her Graduation Diploma mailed.' said Principal Nezu.
